Somebody I used to know

An arrangement was made

Jack's POV

I fell to my back, my hand already going to my burning shoulder. My ears were ringing and I could see Elsa above me shouting and screaming. I tilted my head and frowned. When I brought my hand back down, I saw what the problem was. Blood.

'Jack' she mouth, 'Jack' she whispered. "JACK!" She screamed.

"No need to shout." I muttered giving her a smile. She had tears running down her face as she cupped mine with shaky hands. She gasped and brought me closer to her making me wince.

"Oh Jack, I'm so sorry!"

I put a hand to her face and was about to say something to her, but somebody beat me to it, "I'm sorry that it has come to this my child."

The light flashed on and for a moment I was blinded, but the voice hands already spoken. It had already turned my blood to ice. Already running fingers down my back. But I didn't want to believe this. I didn't want to believe that she had done it.

I stared up at the figure standing in front of me. "M...Mum?" I started to shake and Elsa held me tighter, "you did this? You kidnapped Elsa? You... You shot me?"

She laughed like a demon then gave a blank stare at me, "oh my dear boy. I never wanted you to get hurt, but now, I have no choice. You see, I made a deal with somebody. I have no choice anymore. But no, I did not shoot you" she came closer to me and put her finger under my chin forcing me to look up to her, "I would not be able to do such a thing."

"Actually. That was me. Finally able to shoot you Frost" A deep male voice chuckled. I felt Elsa tense and my breath was shallow. No. He can't of done this. No! I tried to sit up, but forgot about my bullet wound which caused it an agonizing pain.

Elsa's POV

No, this can't be happening. No. He wouldn't..... He.... He can't, "father?"

I felt my eyes well with tears and Jack's hand on the back of my head as I cried with him. No.... No! Slow mocking claps filled the air, "finally, this was getting a bit boring don't ya think Lil?"

"Yes Adgar, very boring, but hey, they got it. We did raise them."

I refused to look up to them and played with Jack's hair, the tears stinging my eyes, "but why? How?!"

"Sorry my dear daughter, but, I wanted to get rid of Jack, Lillie wanted to get rid of you. I help her, she helps me. It's kind of an arrangement."

I couldn't speak, my voice wouldn't work and I don't think I could even if I wanted to. Jack tightened his grip on me and I felt so fragile that I could break at any moment. At any word.

"So you see Elsa, I sent you to Rapunzle's home, so you could die. I was the one who assigned Pitch and Hans to a job for Lillie. I was the one who gave them information about Periwinkle. I was the one who got every single doctor out of the room except for the one evil one. I think I deserve a round of applause."

"Oh, and by the way, your silly little plan has failed. Sorry you had to find out like this." He sighed mockingly, "I just wish we didn't have to kill you. Oh well"

And they both lifted a gun at us and a trigger was pulled.

A/N DO NOT PANIC!!! THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE BOOK!!! I AM NOT CRUEL LIKE THAT!!! I PROMISE!!!!! Anyway, the end will be near soon, just not yet. Thanks for reading and I'll update soon.
