We were driving down the busy morning streets of Metropolis. I had just got done telling Diana, my good friend and car pool buddy, about a girl I had met a week ago a work. I work at the Daily Planet as a reporter with my friend and Coworker Jimmy Olsen and my newly met coworker Lois Lane. She seemed to have a crush on me but I didn't know how to tell her I wasnt interested(that's how Diana put it) and still be her friend.

"I could handle her if you'd like you know." She smiled devilishly and twirled her hair. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"I'm not going to introduce you to my coworker so you can spend a few days or weeks and break her heart. I don't want her to hate me as much as all the others do." I told her and she frowned, her reddened lips making a horrible short line on her face as she pouted in the passenger seat. Diana was a good friend but she didnt know the meaning of a relationship ship or love. She played with multiple men and woman's hearts and I ended up having to live the consequences. This was the third secret identidy job I had gotten since moving here that she would get me fired from if she messed with Lois.

"I won't. Anyways Jimmy introduced us and I wouldn't want to ruin his reputation with her either. I think he likes her. Truthfully I wish she'd give him more attention than me." I told her and she smirked.

"I could make them both very happy." She started to say but I scoffed and shook my head.

"Stop messing with my co-workers Diana. If you mess with either one of them, I will punish you!" I told her and she stiffened and fear filled her eyes.

"Okay. I won't mess with them." She said quickly as we turned and pulled up in front of her work. Diana Prince the Secretary's secret identidy is Wonder woman. She also was known for being in a few realationships with the president.

"Are you going to pick me up after work, Clark?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I have a date tonight." I told her and she smiled.

"With whom if I may ask?" She asked but I shook my head.

"If it works out you'll meet them but if not I don't want to tell everyone." I told her and she frowned.

"Okay then, I'll just get a ride with Barry when he's done being a science geek." She said and I smiled shaking my head. She closed the door and fixed her skirt making it go up forward to where her highest points before her butt were showing. I pulled away from the curve and then minutes later at the Daily Planet. I got out fixing my tie so that my other work 'suit' was not showing from underneath. My other job was my passion and the reason I knew all my friends. I walked inside and took the stairs (the elevator made me stomach sick) and made it to my floor. Walking in I was hit with rush and mess. Everyone was running here and there trying to get the scoop and news. Details were being yelled across the room and over the cubicals and jotted down in notebooks.

"Kent where have you been!?" Lois called running up behind me.

"I was on my way here what's going on?" I asked her and she smiled twirling her hair.

"There was a break in at the Metropolis bank and they are taking hostages." She said.

"We were assigned and have to go right away but I can only fit two in my car and Jimmy car pooled with me today so can you drive your car?" She asked and I smiled.

"Great idea let's go." I told her and she frowned as if she wanted me to protest.

"I'll meet you there okay?" I told her and she nodded.

"Jimmy lets go!" She yelled and Jimmy grabbed his camera and went after her. I let out a sigh and walked out after them to my car and waited for them to speed off before unbottoning my shirt and stuffing my other clothes in the car and flying off.
