Loving Supers

Heli

I held onto the tree sobbing. Father tried to explain but I knew something was wrong.

"She, huh, tree, huh, in your room..." Was all I got before I flew as fast as I could to my bedroom. There in front of my jungle first thing to see was a statue of a young girl with her hand out. I collapsed next to it and sobbed. After followed me but couldn't so anything to make me stop. He left and everyone stayed away until Night wing came in. Now I'm still sobbing but he's rubbing my back.

"How could I let this happen?" I asked him and he sighed.

"Its not your fault you weren't here to watch her." He said and a light switched on in my mind.

"Your right. Its not my fault. Its Superman's." I said sitting up I looked him in the eyes as a feeling began to spread through me. I looked down at my bare toes to see them turning a darker green. I looked back at him and shook my head.

"He should have watched her closer! Where was he when she began changing anyways!? Its his fault." I repeated standing, he followed suit and looked at me.

"That's not what I mean't Heli. He couldn't have stopped her from changing. Nobody could've. It was just bound to happen." He said and I looked at him. For some reason I became angry at him and pushed him making him fly through the glass and out. He caught himself with his claw gun but something in me wished he'd fallen to his death. I howled and turned walking to the door, it opened and I stomped out. I heard yelling behind me but ignored it and kept going. I found Superman and Batman in the lab talking. I grabbed Superman by the neck and went to throw him but he was still stronger and knocked me back.

"Heli what are you doing?" Superman asked and Batman stood up.

"Clark look at her. That's not Heli, that's what I told you about before, it the Ivy genes acting out!" He yelled but I hit him making him smacking into a wall and then fall to the ground. I was turning back to Superman when I was tackled. We went through walls causing cement to fly around as I punched him and he punched me back.

"Heli, snap out of it!" He yelled and I skied using my laser gaze on him. He flew back and fell down.

"I'm not Heli, I'm Heliconia!" I screamed kicking him and causing him to slam into the next wall knocking over. Connor rushed over seeing Superman on the ground and growled. He charged hitting me but not knocking me far enough back. I slammed back into him knocking through three walls before he recovered and charged forward again. This time I dodged him causing him to knock over six walls and run straight into Emerald, Superwoman, and Night wing. They tumbled over and I smiled turning. I felt the air around me moving so I stuck my hand out grabbing Strike by the hair and slamming her down. Superman moved and looked up causing me to laugh.

"Look, I defeated your entire Young Justice group. Your weak, you'll never win." I smiled and he coughed.

"Against who?" He asked and I smiled.

"Me." I said jumping forward and slamming his face into the ground.
