Super Boy

"Let me out!" Strike yelled running and pushing on the glass but only resulting in her becoming exhausted. She collapsed on the bottom of the tank panting and I looked over at Heli. She was still asleep but something was right. Her usual green skin was turning pale making me worry. I tapped the glass as Cheshire came over and laughed.

"Plants need sun and oxygen. She hasn't had hat for, six hours now. I believe she's starting to wilt." Cheshire laughed and I frowned.

"Can't we move her into the sun or something?" I asked and she laughed. She turned and walked away. I sighed and turned to see Emerald looking at me.

"What?" I asked going over to her tank and crossing my arms. She stood and looked at me in the face.

"You seriously believe when it comes down to it they are just going to let you walk out? You have been tricked, fooled and now you have no friends or family. You expect them to move Heli into the sun when you couldn't give her a fair fight? She trusted you, we all did." She said and I sighed.

"That's what you get for trusting him then." I turned to see Joker. I hadn't realized he was moved in here until now.

"What do you care your not on their side." I said and he smiled.

"I rather betray these crazy bastards instead of betraying those who love me for me, Connor." He said and I scoffed turning from him.

"Bad Jokey! You leave the boy alone!" Harley came in and smacked Joker across the face with a belt. He growled and she turned walking out. I looked him in the eyes and I could see the pleading in his face.

"I loved you." I turned to Emerald who had tears running down her face.

"I loved you too." I told her and she shook her head.

"If you loved me. You wouldn't have betrayed me." She said and I sighed. I was walking away when I seen inside one of the labs where they did the titan experiment.
