The space between

If you only knew,
How misery befriends me.
Silence reminds me of the space between,
Our hearts and our distant lives.
Many things bring you to memory.
If I could dream while living in the sensory,
I would see your face your essence.
Longing deeply for your presence.
But you are in the world without me.
I have been forging a scene,
In order that I can beget my savior.
My mind has been telling false tales,
To my heart so that it survive this danger.
The danger of its demise,
For its love is in its world a stranger.

I'm bamboozled,
And kind,
I'm only clothed with what is cruel.
I'm stripped off and deranged,
To a Gothic this utterly cool.

In my search for you,
I cannot take the distance.
I'm bewildered with an ill start.
I will one day,
Once again,
Find you,
Embrace you,
And tell you of a crime,
You grievously committed.
The crime of your absence to me.
