Harry's POV
I wake up in Draco's arms, he's still sleeping but he's slowly waking up. I smile at him and adjust myself, I freeze. I'd forgotten about that.
I'm completely naked, next to Draco. My eyes widen and thoughts race through my mind. Had I rushed him? Was he ready? Had I put him off?
I look back down at Draco to see him looking at me groggily, "I'm sorry Draco."
He raises an eyebrow at me, "What do you have to be sorry for?"
I mumble my suspicions to him and I see his eyes soften. "You need to stop being so thoughtful." He smiles at me and kisses me softly. I can't help but melt into his arms. How did I get so lucky? I pull back and just look at him, smiling a little.
He's clever, he's caring, he knows how to make you smile and Merlin, is he gorgeous.
I get lost in his eyes, the grey-blue pools. His eyes have a softness when mine are sharp, his eyes also have a hardness to them - just as mine have a gentleness. Perhaps that's why I love him so much, we are two sides of the same coin.
He's blonde, I'm brunette.
He's tall, I'm short.
He's infamous, I'm famous.
He was a deatheater, I was the Chosen One.
But then again, I'm sure he'd tell anyone who'd listen how we are similar.
We are both strong, emotionally.
And we are both strong, physically.
We are both on the same side, now.
We are both good looking, according to each other.
We have both had a rough past, to say the least.
We are both wizards, the same age.
And we are both now homosexual, I suppose.

Draco snaps me out of my thoughts, "What're you thinking about?"
"You."
He smiles a little, "Care to explain?"
"Not really. It's too cliché for you." Draco chuckles and shakes his head.
We lie together for a while longer, chatting and joking aimlessly, until we realise we have to get up. Draco stands up first and rolls his eyes at me, "You are my boyfriend, you don't need to be embarrassed." I smile at him as I feel my cheeks redden. He walks back towards me, just in a shirt and hugs me. I stand up with him and he puts his hands on my waist. I smile and rest my head in his neck. I hear him chuckle and pull away, he looks down and smirks. Immediately, I feel myself blush and I lightly punch his arm. He doesn't change his line of sight and I glare at him. I push him against the wall and I kiss him, forcing him to close his eyes. He laughs and murmurs, "And - you say - you're not - a - Slytherin."
I smile and pull away. I see him glance down once more and I walk to my wardrobe. "I swear, you're worse than a teenager."
He just winks and watches me get changed. "Draco! Stop staring and get dressed." I look him in the eye and he smiles guiltily.

We finally get changed and we make our way to the great hall. I'm pleasantly surprised when Draco leans into my shoulder and puts an arm around my waist, we are at the entrance and Draco usually hates public displays of affection. Nevertheless, I snake an arm around his waist and smile at him. "Why the sudden PDA?" I whisper into his ear when we reach the table. He smiles, "Just repaying the favour," he then murmurs, "I can tonight as well." I raise an eyebrow.
"Is that seriously all you think about?"
He rolls his eyes and whispers, "Well yes, you're practically waving yourself in front of me on a string. And it doesn't
help that you're so hot!"
I blush a little at his compliment and reach for some breakfast.

Draco's POV
After breakfast I walk with Harry, doing the rounds. Once we're done we decide to stay out on the lawns. I take this opportunity to tell Harry about the Deatheater meeting. Father isn't being as strict with identities and I've managed to find nearly everyone's name and I'm confident that after one more meeting I'll have everyone. I'm just concerned that it's all happening too fast.
I voice my concerns to Harry and he nods. "I know what you mean." He puts the parchment that he wrote the names on in his pocket and stood up. "I'm going to owl this to the Auror's department." I stand up eagerly as he watches me smiling cheekily. I roll my eyes at him and walk with him to the owlery.

"Remember the last time we were here?" He smiles and replies,
"Of course I do. How could I forget?"
I smile at the memory and we walk back to the lawns. Harry reaches for my hand and I smile at him. I'm surprised to see him frowning. He starts to whisper urgently, "Draco, listen to me. You mustn't look but there's someone at the edge of the forest and they're not from Hogwarts. There's something not right." I fight the urge to look to my left at the Forbidden forest. Harry spins me around to face him. "Draco, go to McGonagall's office and floo with her to the ministry. Get backup. You mustn't let on that you know but as soon as you get into the castle, run. Go, I'll be fine." I feel myself nod, I look into his eyes. This isn't the time for whispered promises but I have to say something,
"Harry, I love you. Be careful, I don't know what I'd do without you." He looks into my eyes and nods, "I will." He leans towards me to kiss me and I hug him to me, kissing him softly. The fireworks and adrenaline should be reassuring but they just make my chest tighten uncomfortably and my throat close off. When I open my eyes I can tell Harry's feeling the same way. Without a word we turn away from each other and saunter slowly away. I fight back my tears and pull myself together, I force myself to sneer and I slip the classic Malfoy mask on.
I can't reach the steps to the castle quick enough and as soon as I do, I look back. I see Harry's retreating back and I see a flash of black disappear into the woods. As Harry jogs after it, I race into the castle. B lining for the headmistress' office.
