Harry's POV

After the Ministry had smoothed the Marcus 'incident' over, I decided we needed to act fast. We were going to slowly find each member we knew of and we were going to capture them. I had been voted as the person to ambush the deatheaters and I was allowed a team of five to come with me.
I had chosen Dean, Michael Corner, two other younger Gryffindor's and a Ravenclaw called Max but, to my surprise Draco had requested to come.

"Hey, Harry. I've - ah - I've been meaning to ask you something?" I can sense he's nervous and I nod. I've been quite stressed recently and Draco always knows just how to help. It looks like I might have to say some words of comfort to Draco.
I'm caught slightly off guard when he asks he straight up if he can be on the 'team,' I look in his eyes and I see worry. "Draco, why do you want to? It'll be dangerous, what if you got caught?"
He smiles up at me. "I want to. I want to be there for you. I want to help. I want to show people that I'm not who they think. I want to fight with you, on the right side." I smile brightly.
"Dray, you don't have to fight for me, or to prove a point. I'll be safe." I know, deep down that it's no good. I know that he'll come. I know that he'll help fight. I know that he'll stay by my side. I know that the day he leaves my side will be a terrible day.
"I want to do it for me as well. Please?" I curse myself for giving in so easily. If he gets hurt it'd be all my fault. I still can't stop myself from nodding into his chest.
I don't need to look at him to know that he's smiling, I do anyway though.
"You should smile more around other people. It makes you hotter." I smirk at him and wait for his reply, which no doubt will be sarcastic,
"You should get naked more in front of people. It makes you way more hotter." "I'll take that as a compliment... I suppose." He laughs and hugs me.
It's all I can do but to hug back, I feel safe in this man's arms. I want to just stay here forever. "Dray, could you be sentimental, just this once?" His lips break into a smile and he nods.
"I love you, I love you so much, I'm safe when I'm with you. I can be vulnerable when I'm with you. I can be myself. I can speak my mind and I know you'll speak back. I can talk to you because I know you'll say something back. I know you'll try and see it how I do. And if you think that I'm wrong you'll tell me.
"I'm not Harry Potter around you. I'm just Harry. And I've never felt that way ever, I've either been the boy in the cupboard or the chosen one. But in your arms I'm Harry. And that's paradise. That's cloud nine, knowing that you won't judge me, because you already have. Years ago you judged me, and I you. And now there's nothing else to judge. There's just opinions. But I know that whatever your opinion, it'll be fine with me. You give me a home. Hogwarts was my first home. And you are my second, and last.
"You mean everything to me. And that's why I love you."
"Harry." He whispers, I look up from his chest to his eyes. I'm taken aback when I see him battling with his emotions. He pulls me closer to him on the bed, he's smiling happily, "I love you too. I love you to the end of the world and then further still. I just want to be with you for as long as I can. I don't feel like a Malfoy with you. I understand what you're saying because with you I'm Draco, and only Draco."

That was the biggest compliment I could ever have recieved. And I'm so glad I did give in, that he is here with me now, in this alleyway.

We have been practising for a while, spies have been sent out and we've done lots of training for this moment. I'm confident that it'll be okay. I'll only start to worry more as our targets get higher up the hierarchy. They'll be more powerful and much harder to corner.

Draco has been transfigured and has taken Polyjuice. We are attacking twice tonight. We have decided to take out the underdogs first, the small, seemingly insignificant people. That way they won't be as concerned than if we straight away ambushed Lucius.
We are targeting two Slytherin's, one younger and one older than us. Draco knows them both. For the purposes of the task we've all had Polyjuice. This has swung in my favour as I can freely hold Draco's hand. I can tell he's nervous and I whisper comforts to him. He smiles down at me and squeezes my hand. We stand in plain view, the other four are hiding in the shadows. We are leaning against the wall. It was Draco's idea to 'act natural' rather than just attack as soon as we see him. I smile at him. I know that it will all go smoothly. He doesn't seem as sure. I sigh and hug him, pulling him to me. "It's okay. Don't worry." I whisper in his ear.
"How can you be so relaxed?"
"You get used to it."
He pulls back slightly and turns around, eager to keep an eye out for him.
