Arriving back at the room hours later, Juice was surprised that Courtney wasn't there. Assuming she was at the daycare with their other two boys, he took the seat next to Collin. Tears came to his eyes as he took in the frail state of his son.

Sniffling, Juice grabbed his son's hand."You're gonna be okay, we all are little man." He wasn't sure if he was saying that for Collin or himself at the moment.

Juice began to worry when Courtney didn't come back, so he stood, kissed Collin on the head and headed towards the daycare in search of his wife.

He arrived to find both of his kids but no Courtney. Spotting an employee, he asked,"Has my wife been here? She would have been seeing Cadyn and Cameron Ortiz? She's a small blonde."

The young woman shook her head before tending to the children trying to get her attention. Juice sighed in frustration before heading outside, hoping to find Courtney there. Seattle Grace was a huge hospital, and Juice didn't realize how huge until he had scoured half of it in his search for Courtney. He was relieved when he saw her standing next to her car smoking.

"What are you doin'?" He asked, leaning against the car next to her.

"I needed some air," she said curtly.

Juice sighed,"Could you atleast tell me where the hell you're goin' instead of just disappearing?"

She scoffed,"I'm a grown woman. I think I've earned the right to go outside and have a cigarette without telling you my every move, Juan."

"Yeah, but you haven't earned the right to be a complete bitch," Juice countered and immediately regretted the word coming out of his mouth.

"Oh I'm a bitch now?" She asked, laughing coldly as she threw her cigarette down.

Juice didn't say anything, despite wanting to apologize to her, as he followed her back inside to Collin's room to find him awake.

"Hey buddy," Courtney said, her and Juice taking a seat on each side of him.

The doctor, who had been standing in the room, cleared his throat to gain their attention.

"Is everything okay doc?" Juice asked, holding Collin's hand.

"The surgery went well as you know, and while you were out, we tested his legs," the doctor said, looking down at his chart. Courtney's breath hitched in her throat as she waited, expecting to hear bad news.

"You have a perfectly healthy, functioning child. We will keep him for a few more weeks to ensure the incision heals well," the doctor told them smiling as he exited.

"Dad, I'm gonna be okay!" Calling said, excitedly throwing his arms around his father who hugged him back.

Juice laughed," Yeah you are little dude."

"I'm gonna go get Cadyn and Cameron. They've been dying to see you," Courtney said before she got up to head that way.

"I'll go with you," Juice offered, standing up to follow her out.

He stopped her just before they got to the daycare.

"I need to go clear shit up with the insurance company and soon," he told her.

Courtney nodded,"You do what you have to. Let me know what they say,"she told him before heading inside to retrieve her youngest boys. Juice pulled out his phone, all the while watching to make sure she didn't come out.

"I'd like to book a flight to Charming, California..... Tomorrow? Sounds great, thanks."
