                                                  She was petrified.
                              The spider crawled slowly towards her, almost as if it knew exactly what it was doing. She whimpered and shoved herself farther into the corner, as far away from the spider as she could manage.
                              They were numb.

                              The spider crawled slowly across their knuckles, seemingly confused as to how it couldn't move from its spot. They sighed and watched the spider crawl, incapable of feeling anything anymore.
                              He was desperate.
                              The spider crawled around its cage, as if it was looking for a way out. He let out a frustrated noise and tore the top off, picking the spider up and letting it bite him.
