Camp Dewberry was one of those camps you'll you see in a horror film. They had about seven wooden cabins, what looked like a cafeteria and two story log cabin for the counselors to sleep in. The cabins looked as if they were built in the 1930's during the Great Depression. Each cabin was scattered around in no particular order scattered around and each cabin was covered in vines on the sides and grass growing on the porches. They also had a building that was

There were four counselors lined in a single file line by side in the center of the camp. There were two women and two males and each wore the same attire as Dennis. One of the females was a blonde and the other was a brunette. Each was slim and tall but the blonde had freckles like Frank here. The two men both had a military style cut but one was bulky and muscular while the other one was very slim and lanky.

The whole bus start to murmur until Dennis stood up and motion for silence. "When you all get off the bus I want a single file line and NO talking! "We'll have the counselors carry your luggage to your assign cabins after you all meet and greet! Now get off the bus!"

"I'm Josh and this is Max!" The skinny dude said pointing to the muscular guy. "And I'm Ruby." And I'm Melanie!" The blonde said after the brunette. Out of nowhere Josh start glaring at me with a confused look.

"Ashton Silver? What are you doing here?" Everyone start to stare at me. "You're supposed to be at camp Zion!" I was getting more and more confused by the second.

"Josh that's enough!" Dennis interrupted. "But as I was saying about the cabins. There are seven cabins and a total of twenty eight of you which mean only four people to a cabin. But don't get to happy because we already assigned cabins to you all."

"Isn't this great that we get to share a cabin together?" Frank said grinning from ear to ear. "And the fact that we're having a welcome dinner at Camp Zion tonight makes it even better!"

I've been assigned a cabin with Frank, a Goth girl named Ashley and another girl named Emma but she was as quiet as a mouse. She never spoke a word even when I said hey to her she just looked at me like I was crazy.

The cabin was small with only two bunk beds and one bathroom and one small TV. We didn't have any central air nor no fans. They said this will help us learn how to survive under these conditions.

"When will they bring our suitcases?" I asked gazing out the window. "I don't know but anything beats this stupid T-shirt." I didn't even have to turn around to know who voice that was. The same voice I've been hearing all day.

"I heard at Zion they groom their students to be true heroes and Aura warriors. I heard they go on quest to find lost scrolls and hunt down some of the World's worst criminals. But here at Dewberry it's completely different. I guessed that's why some people go rougue!"

I looked at Frank and for the first time today I actually took what he said serious instead of thinking it was nonsense.

The cabin became so hot and stuffy that I decided to go for a walk around camp. I would've brought Frank with me but he was already gone somewhere else.
When I walked outside the sun was setting over the horizon casting a orange glow over the whole camp. The camp was bigger than what I thought it was. Their was a archery range and a football field even with goalposts. There were this two story log building where the counselors slept called big house number two. By the looks of it it wasn't that much difference between our cabins and the big house. Other than that and a small lagoon this was a very small camp.

The temperature outside was warm and way cooler than it was in the cabin. There was a couple campers walking around talking and getting to know each other. I start walking to Dennis who was busy trying to flirt with Ruby. I skipped stopping to talk to him and instead opted to look for the bus with my luggage until I heard someone call my name.

"Ashton Silver?" I turned back and saw someone that I'll least expect to see at Camp Dewberry.

It was Vincent Davis the school bully. Even though he was the school bully it seem as if always I'm his main target. He walked towards me his dark hair flowing in the wind. Vincent had a dark look that no one else could match.

"You can't respond Ashton?"

"What are you doing here?"

"That doesn't sound like warm welcome to me. You should work on your manners. But I'm here because I found out that I have that I have the unique energy source that's called Aura. They said I've inherited it from one of my parents." He said rubbing his chin.

"Well great for you!" I said turning around trying to avoid conversation. "I'm not done yet!" He said grabbing my shoulder tightly.

"Let me go!" He completely ignored me. "See you tonight at inaguration!" He chuckled finally letting go of my arm.
