Everyone rushed and jumped over their seats trying to get trying to get to Wisp. Frank was the first one in line and I was like the thirty person.
"Ah your ambition is unmatched young man. What is your name?"
"Franklin Robinson!" He said pushing his glasses back. "Nice to meet you Franklin!"Wisp placed his thumb under Frank ribcage and Frank completely frozed. We all watched in awe as a dark green light emitted from Franklin eyes. Just as quick as I came the night vanished and Franklin collapsed over on his knees coughing. "Franklin Robinson your elemental prowess is geokinesis. Your Aura allows you to manipulate Earth."
"Sweet!" He said through a horspe voice. Another student went up but this time his eyes emitted a dark red glow. After he collapsed on his knees Wisp told her that her Aura ability is pyrokinesis. Pyrokinesis is when a person Aura allows them to manipulate fire.
After that it was so on and so on until he finally reached me. I climbed on the stage and where Wisp was waiting. "Hello young man and your name is?" He said extending out his hand.
"Ashton Silver!" I said shaking his hand and staring in his dark eyes. He looked at me in shock.
"Ashton Silver? The son of the great Calvin Silver?"
"Yea!" I said still didn't know why people honored my father so much.
"He must not be that Silver if he's with Camp Dewberry!" I heard someone mock from the back. I turned around and saw Blake and his fellow Zionists giggling. I turned back around and Wisp jammed his thumb below my ribcage and everything went dark. It was like a underground tunnel. I spotted a light blue light at the end of the tunnel and ran towards it. When I reached the light everything was back to normal and I had my vision back but I had no energy and I was out of breath. I collapsed on the stage coughing and weezing.
"Congratulations Mr. Silver, your elemental prowess is Hydrokinesis just like your father!"
******Zion had a large picnic area with about thirty benches, grills and even a couple of small camp fires that Wisp lighted himself with his pyrokinesis. I sat at a table with Franklin and a couple more people from a camp in New York City.
"So what does it feel like to unlock your Aura?" A girl asked trying to break the silence while we were waiting to be served our food. Her blonde hair was cut into a small bob and her blue eyes twinkled in the moonlight. She had just found out that she can manipulate the very winds. A rare power known as Aerokinesis. Wisp must saw something special in her because he asked her to stay at Zion and really learn how to hone her power.
"I feel great but I wonder when will I actually learn how to manipulate the Earth." Frank said staring at his hands.
"I gotta pee!" I said getting up and excusing myself from the table. The picnic area was surrounded by forest which mean I had to go in the forest and pee.
When I was down I heard a branch behind me snap thinking it was just an forest animal. I start walking back towards the picnic. A few seconds left I heard another crunch. I turn around . "Who's there?" I said sounding more afraid than brave. Nobody answered. When I turned back around I seen Blake standing right in front of me scaring the crap out of me.
"You scared me man!" I said trying to laugh it off. He stood there completely silent. "Umm, I have to get back to the picnic area." I said trying to step around him. But he stepped in my way.
"What are you doing Blake?" I asked getting more curious by the second. He clutched his hands around my neck with an iron grip.
"What are you doing?" He completely ignored me and tighten his grip. "Your father!" He said through gritted teeth. "Your father Calvin Silver cost my father and my mother their lifes!" He tighten his grip even harder and I could feel the air escaping my lungs.
I tried to kick and scratch my way out of this. When I tried to kick him that's when I noticed my feet was off the ground. "I promised on my father's death bed that I'll get vengeance on the Silvers!" A small fire erupted in his palm of his free hand.
He laughed an evil laugh. "But unfortunately that time is not now." He said dropping me to the ground. I start to cough and gag until I felt the warm summer air in my lungs again.
"If I kill you now it'll be too easy. I wanna wait until you hone your Aura and become a worthy foe, that's when I'll come after you and kill you making it much more sweeter. But until then I'll be watching Ashton Silver!" And with that he lept into the night the air and disappeared.
I noticed somebody standing in the distance. The moonlight was just enough for me to see the face of Franklin just standing there like a shadow.
*****When we reached the picnic area everyone was talking and laughing having fun. They didn't even notice we were gone. The food had arrived and I could smell steam shrimp in the air making my stomach grumble.
After we got a plate full of shrimp, baked potatoes and for some reason French fries with a can of orange soda we headed back to our table. The New Yorkers were already stuffing there faces. I glared at Franklin.
"What?" he asked curiously.
"Why you didn't help me back there?"
"He was an Class A fighter! I couldn't do anything but probably get a mudhole stumped in me! I hope you didn't forget that we're not even ranked. We don't stand a chance against a class D opponent!" He ranted.
The whole table stopped what they were doing to see what exactly he was ranting about. I stayed silent and dugged in my food.
