"Everybody on board the bus and I hope everyone has on their camp shirt!" Dennis screamed through the bullhorn. "Come on we must leave now! If you're all not on the bus in five minutes you will be disciplined first thing in the morning!"
"Wow such force, eh?" Frank said nudging me in the shoulder. All twenty or so campers boarded the bus in less than four minutes. I tooked the seat in the very back but Frank was right behind me. "It looks like we're seat partners." He said grinning.
Dennis stood in the front of the bus. "We're going to camp Zion to have the inaugural feast and orientation where you will find out what your Aura element is! Any questions?" No one raised their hand. "OK then, off we go!"
****Frank was up to his usual talking and blabbing about nonsense. When we finally reached Zion everyone stopped talking and gazed in aw at the magnificent sight of Zion.
The front was magnificent. With beautiful and perfect green cut grass, a water fountain about the size of an oak tree stood tall in the front of Zion. The building was massive and decorated with bricks. It had to been at least three stories tall. Zion had the resemblance to a university. The bus came to an arupt stop in front of another bus.
We had parked across the street along with about six other buses with students from different beginners camps. "I want a single file line and I want everyone to stay together when we get off the bus!" Students from the other camps start to pile off the buses wearing their different camp T-shirts. Campers of all different races, ethnic groups and ages all walked to the entrance of Zion to see what awaits us.
*****The entrance to Zion was beautiful and spaciuz. With marble flooring and unique paintings of different warriors using the four elements on the wall and ceiling made Zion a very magnificent place. But what was more magnificent was that there were marble statues of different men and women standing shoulder to shoulder on each side of the wall.In the very center of the center of the floor stood an middle age Caucasian man with long dark hair touching his shoulders. He was covered in a dark cloak decorated with flames at the bottom. His shoes were dark, long and pointed up at the bottom with the tip being a bright orange.
"Welcome to Zion and the World of elemental manipulation!" The man boomed. "I am Wisp the head of Zion. Now Follow me!" He instructed in a deep voice.
He led us outside to a big blue building that read Auditorium in bright red letters. "You will sit with your fellow campers and if we catch you talking we will send you back to your camp bus!"
The auditorium was a normal one with the same seats and stage as a high school. But something felt odd. There were six watch men: three standing on each side of the auditorium.
******Their was only about a hundred and thirty of us in the auditorium. "You already know that my name is Wisp and I'm the head principal of not only Zion but even the intermediate camps across the country! Many of you are wondering why you must start off at the intermediate level. Everyone must start off somewhere!" He stopped and scanned the crowd.
"Unfortunately for you guys, You start off at the very bottom. Which mean you're not even ranked in the Aura World! Many of you probably don't even know what being ranked is! Anybody wanna take a guess?"
Frank shot his hand up. "Yes the young man right there." Wisp said pointing to Frank. "There are four rank classes and you get ranked based on your how well you can control and manipulate your element!" "Correct!" Wisp boomed.
"How did you know that?" I whispered to Frank."I keep a book that my father gave to me abut Zion." He whispered back.
"Now there are four rank classes as the young man said." Wisp continued. "The first class is class D. Class D consist of mostly beginners like you guys- But the major difference is that they already honed their elemental ability and are still working out their kinks. Class C honed their elemental prowess but the major difference between class C is that the have enough combat training to take out Class D fighters and minor criminals in the Aura World."
Wisp stopped in mid sentence as the auditorium doors opened. Kids in bright red Camp Zion T-shirts shuffled in the auditorium sitting in the very back.
"As I was saying, Class B fighters are some of the very best fighters. With training in mixed martial arts and strategic planning plus their honed their elemental prowess enough to challenge some of the World's best fighters. Even as good as they are they aren't the very best."
Wisp pointed to the back of the auditorium where the camp Zion kids were sitting. "Stand Blake!" Everyone in the auditorium turned their attention to the back and watched as a kid with a high spiky mohawk stand up. He was pale, slim and tall. But the look in his face was kinda sinister.
"Blake is one of the three kids at Zion that are Class A and his elemental prowess is fire! You may be seated now Blake." Wisp gestured.
"Class A is the very cream of the crop and the fact that we only have three of class A students should tell you something. Class A fighters have mastered their element, perfected in martial arts, stragetic leaders and are the World's best fighters. Beating any class with ease and can take down some of the most notorious criminals in the Aura World! Hopefully one day each of you will be ranked and be an Aura warrior!"
"Each of you have Aura and the goal tonight is to unlock it and find out what your element is. Aura is locked in your lower ribcage and if you come down here in a single file line I will unlock the key to your future."
