You wore that orange shirt
That captured my tired heart
I despised that color
It didn't show sorrow
You mentioned the weather
And we laughed together
Your smile was truly bright
That made me smile tonight
Orange dress as a gift
We watched the clouds slow drift
Almost said I love you
But you smiled at her view
I loved you since summer
You gave her a flower
I watched you slow dancing
I found myself running
Orange was beautiful
Just as it was brutal
Might be a stupid choice
Wanting to stop the noise
I suffered for so long
I'm wounded all along
I'm tired of pretending
Knew this was the ending
Cold breeze in the street
I couldn't feel my feet
Hand was holding a knife
Done with this tragic life
