Alan's POV

Ahhh. My target. Got him locked in. Agent Alan of Awesomeness. Yeah that's me. Mission: Joey's Best Man is totally in the bag.

"Hey, Joey. Got you some Chick-fil-a." I said sitting down by the youngest of my band mates, where he sat on the couch of where we've been making videos recently.

"Thanks, Alan!" Joey said with a bright smile. Perfect, time to move in.

"So, have you and Susanna got everything ready for the wedding?" I asked with a smile.

"Pretty much." Joey got a faraway look on his face, and a peaceful smile crossed his lips. "It's moving along really well. Most of the wedding party is worked out."

Perfect! Here's my chance. "Speaking of! I was wondering if you had picked out who was going to be your best man yet?"

Joey's eyes grew wide. At that exact moment, Caleb came strolling in the room saying, "Hey, Joey I've got a couple extra game systems, you think you would..." He stopped short what he was saying and eyed me.

"Joey!" Chad yelled racing into the room, "I found this and was going to give you it. Did I mention it was green?!?"

Chad stopped, then stares at Caleb and myself.

Suddenly the music that plays before a gun fight in westerns bursts into the air. "Um... I should get this!" Joey says, taking off with his cell phone.

The three of us get face to face and Chad actually growls. Then he follows up with a sort of Scottish accent thing, "Eye, I say let the games begin! Let the Best Man win!"

Chad's POV

"I'm gonna have to step up my game." I told Fallon at the kitchen table the next morning.

"Honey, what are you talking about?" She looks worried, she probably should be.

"The Best Man Games." I say moving around my green Anthem Lights mug.

"The what now?" Fallon now looks at me like I'm crazy. She's the one who married me, you think she would expect things like this by now.

"Alan, Caleb, and me are battling to see who will Joey's best man?"

"But didn't he...?" The ringing of the phone cuts her off, she crosses the room to answer. "Hey, Kels. Caleb is doing it too then?"

"Doing what?" I try to take the phone away to listen in on my friend's plans, I mean my opposition.

"Acting like a nut job." Fallon says sticking out her tongue, then taking off to the other end of the house.

I smile as I get a plan. Joey will pick me for sure with that! I'm in my car and headed to Joey's place in no time.

Caleb's POV

"I'm up first, Joe." I'm in the driver seat of my car, and Joey is in the passenger's seat his eyes wide and hands locked on the dash and roof bars. Seriously! One time and no one trusts me anymore.

"Where are we going?" Joey finally manages as we turn off the main interstate.

"We're going to play Mario Kart." I look at him, and he looks terrified.

"Now, I understand what Kelsey and Fallon meant about you guys acting crazy." Joey waves an arm around, "Dude, don't you realize this is Wal-Mart? Did you break your game?" I just laugh as we get out of the car. "Caleb! That laugh is just creepy."

I open the trunk and pull out two bags. One holds a red costume, the other is green. "We put on these. I'll be Mario. You can be Luigi. Those carts inside that people ride around on? Those. Are. Our. Carts."

Joey laughs after he gets done looking completely shocked. "You may be crazy. But I like crazy. Let's do this thing."

--------------------------

I've had this scene planned out for a long time now, ever since I saw this gif on pinterest where two men where wearing Mario and Luigi costumes and doing just what Caleb and Joey ended up doing. So from that is where the best man games began.

What do you think Alan and Chad's plans are? Is that all Caleb has up his Nintendo sleeve?
