Eric found himself the next day standing outside the HWC two-story building. It was an ordinary-looking structure about five to six kilometers from the city proper. He got into the building and the markings on the first door hinted him as the company's business office. He stepped inside. With two tables and a waiting sofa, the room was very modest with little furniture. The table at the side was occupied by a very attractive secretary in red while the other table at the center was empty. The secretary nodded and smiled, gesturing him to sit down on the waiting sofa. After a few minutes, a man in his mid-thirties walked in and occupied the seat of the center table. He called Eric to sit on a single chair in front of his desk facing the secretary.

"So it's you who Prof. Allan Stuart recommended." The man smiled.

"Yes sir," Eric replied consciously and handed to him the resume.

The man scanned the document and put it aside. He studied Eric like a clairvoyant with the tips of his fingers neatly joining in pairs in front of his chest. "My name is Andrew Adams, or you can just call me Andrew. Prof. Stuart was excited about your idea of Artificial Intelligence. He said your proposal AI could be of great help to the company. Rosie, come here."

The secretary stood up and slowly approached the table, in front of Eric.

"What do you think of her?" Andrew asked.

"She is pretty... and very attractive young lady, sir," Eric replied.

"Can you please show to us your private parts, Rosie." The secretary pressed the small buttons on her shoulders, and the red dress fell down on her feet, exposing her smooth and flawless beautiful body. "Now, what do you think?" Andrew asked him again.

Eric was mesmerized by the scene. He swallowed. "Sir, I'm not fond of stargazing and have never dreamt of becoming an astronomer, but I can tell a heavenly body in front of me."

Andrew raised his eyebrows, smiled, and said, "And I trust you don't need a telescope." He stood up and came closer to Rosie. He inserted his index finger in Rosie's navel, and gradually a curved outline in Rosie's abdomen became visible, like the body shape of a small guitar. Then Andrew slowly pulled the abdominal skin, exposing mechanical and electronic circuitry inside. Eric was stunned and a bit disgusted. His eyes widened staring at the abdominal hole on Rosie.

"Rosie is a high-end humanoid robot," Andrew clarified, "and quite expensive to manufacture. We want to design economical humanoid like her to replace exhaustive and repetitive human jobs, like sitting all day in a gas station cashier or inside a small store, or standing on the receptionist's desk of hotels and motels. Her movements are still limited; she can only walk short distances. Her recognition system is customized based on her job requirements and her voice is still robotic in nature. But she is already a working humanoid, serving as a secretary here in my small office. What is your suggestion for improving her, to make her more functional and economical?"

Eric could not believe the sexually attractive young lady in front of him was a humanoid robot. He was aware about this kind of technology on the internet, but he never thought this small company could specialize in the development of an advanced humanoid technology. All he knew were high-tech, square-faced, Japanese mechanical machine called Asimov's Prime, which was already learning to kick a football. And who knows in the future, it might also learn to kick other balls... probably by accident, Eric always thought.

"Well, I can create efficient visual and sound recognition software for her that does not require high processing power so we can use average computer specification to cut her price. I can also program some gravity effect movements to help lessen her power consumption. Or we can install an induction charging coil-pads on her buttocks or feet to minimize the capacity of the battery inside her, again reducing her price and weight. I don't know, but I could give her some efficient customization if I am given more time to think."
