Am I In Love With Her (Editing)

Chapter 11

Toneri has not left Konaha. He still attends school but does not dare come in front of Naruto.

Naruto has become a kind of a hero and he dates the most beautiful and smartest girl of Konaha...you must have guessed by now that the girl is Hinata.

It was kind of sudden but lot of people had expected it to happen sooner or later.

Hinata's Pov :-

Today is a new day and hopefully today will also be a good day.
These past few weeks have been good, no drama. Normal life, studies, friends, get togethers, fun lunchbreaks, fights between Naruto and Sasuke and some new things, for instance Kiba-kun being back to normal after rejection, Sai and Ino finally dating, Chouji thinking about something actually someone other than food, Karui and finally, me dating Naruto.

I have started dating Naruto, but I wish it was real. I mean of course I like him but this fake relationship is because of Toneri. By how much I know him, he will be looking out for reasons to explain my Dad the so called 'circumstances' of that incident. He is not back yet but the when he does come back from his trip, Toneri will be there waiting with lies.

If I don't date Naruto, he will put the blame on Naruto. And if I date Naruto and he comes to know it is fake, he will again put the blame on Naruto saying that Naruto was testing his patience and he will conclude by saying he loves me and cannot bear seeing me with another boy.  The second option was a much safer bet. We can manage to not let him find out.

I don't know but I thought that perhaps this relationship will be real and not a fake because after what Naruto did for me, seeing his anger, I thought that he has feelings for me but I was wrong.

Flashback :-

I tap on his shoulder and he looks at me. I motion him to talk to me somewhere private. We move away from all the students and walk away to a much quieter place.

It was a large space with grass growing wildly. The wind was blowing and with it the whistling sounds of the grass swaying to one side. We stand in silence for a moment before I start.

"Arigato, Naruto-kun."

"I am sorry Hinata."

I was shocked that Naruto-kun would apologise after all he did for me.

"But you saved me, Naruto-kun."

"I also got out of control Hinata. You saved me from losing my temper and stopped me from killing him."

"It's okay Naruto-kun." I say my cheeks growing warm.

"So, why did you ask me to talk to you. I mean is everything all right?"

"Yeah, but I think we should date now."

I actually said it like that to see his reaction and his reaction was hard to decipher. But it was too awkward to wait for close observation.

".... I mean acting, Naruto-kun." I add before he even breaks his friendship with me.

"Oh!" He says after a moment. "Umm....yeah..how could I forget that...but why...Toneri is not a problem now....right?"
