-Chapter 11-

"Where. Is. Sasha?"

I could no longer control my anger.

"She is safe, but only as long as you obey your orders to become the queen of wolves," Falina said and smiled cruelly.

Shrieking, I catapulted myself at my very own mother with the intent to kill. I clawed at her eyes with my nails, drawing blood. She cried out in pain, but took no action against me.

"There will come a time when you shall understand," she told me sternly, attempting to prove her superiority. This merely caused me further anger and I was soon pulling at her hair, viciously ripping out the locks so similar to mine.

"Soon," she continued, and I snarled and spat in her face.

"Stop! This is not proper conduct for a lady!" A voice ordered, lifting me from my hold on Falina.

Huffing angrily, I looked up to find the enormous face of Torfus. He had grabbed me from the back of my dress, lifting me in midair as if I were a dog.

"You have no right!" I said indigently, crossing my arms.

"How could you attack your mother in such a way?" Torfus scolded.

"My mother," I spat, "threatened me!"

"Seer Falina would do no such thing. As our future Luna it is essential that you reign in your temper," Torfus told me sternly.

"The fault was not mine!" I yelled, and sighed when I realized that I did not help my case.

"Alpha Hunter has been searching for you. Let us return to your chamber."

"No!" I shrieked, thrashing wildly.

Torfus possessed more strength than a team of oxen, however, so hauling me out of my mother's chamber was no large feat.

I foolishly continued struggling and even attempted to latch myself onto the door post. The last person I wished to see was Hunter.

"I humbly express my gratitude for the returning of my mate to my side," he spoke in a husky voice.

Torfus released me onto the bed and bowed low before turning to leave.

"No!" I cried desperately. "Do not leave! Stay, grace us with your presence," I pleaded.

Torfus chuckled, yet still exited the chamber.

"Why do you not wish to be alone with me?" Hunter placed a hand over his heart and pretended he was hurt.

I scoffed and crossed my arms. Hunter's eyes were drawn to my breasts, and I watched in horror as they darkened.

Slowly, he began to stalk towards me, as if he was an animal hunting down his prey.

"No," I whispered, however this merely increased his pace.

I could not resist his touch; I knew that much. My only hope was to distract him.

"Alas, I have not eaten since yesterday!" I dramatically relayed, placing the back of my hand across my forehead in distress. My stomach soon growled rather loudly, and to my dismay my cheeks grew warm.

Hunter stopped in his tracks and nodded his head slowly.

"Let us prepare you something to eat," he said gruffly and gestured for me to follow him.

When we arrived at the extensive palace kitchen, Hunter flicked his eyes over to mine expectantly.

I looked around at all the shiny metal pots and pans, as well as a variety of sharp utensils unknown to me, and raised my brow.

Did he expect that I cook myself a meal?

"I shall have your finest delicacy," I declared, waiting for him to begin.

Hunter scrunched his brows in confusion. "Is it not a lady's place to cook and serve meals?"

"I am a master bow-woman. I did not have time for womanly duties while I lived in Thorn," I sniffed.

"What is this? A woman that has no cooking ability? What has fate presented me with?" Hunter said, clearly agitated.

"The fault is not mine that I cannot cook. Most men would fall at their feet for a brave woman such as myself." At this moment anger had started to befall me.

Hunter aligned his face into a mocking smile.

"Oh, lady that cannot cook, how I desire your arrogance and inability to obey direction!"

This angered me so much that I did not stop to think. I scanned the kitchen quickly and discovered a jar of flour on my right. I reached for it and raised it above Hunter's head, allowing the powdery white flour to pour right onto his midnight locks.

Hunter sputtered in shock, standing still as a statue.

"It seems you have transformed into a ghost," I giggled, taking in his now-ashen body.

Hunter slowly wiped the powder from his face, glaring at me, then a sinister smile crossed his face.

"I admit that your courageousness has affected me quite deeply. Allow me to dislplay such affection," and with that Hunter gathered me up into his arms, coating my dress completely with a layer of white film.

"How dare you!" I screeched, frantically attempting to brush the flour from my skin.

Hunter caught my hands in his own and looked deeply into my eyes. I realized the close proximity between us and my heartbeat quickened.

"Must you taunt me with those alluring lips?" Hunter murmured huskily, and proceeded to capture my lips with his own.

Never before has a man kissed me, and I had not planned on allowing such a thing to happen. However, as Hunter's lips met my own I was immediately drawn to the kiss as if I had craved his touch my entire life.

Hunter groaned softly, deepening the kiss, and I gasped at the sound.

Oh, how he fills me with desire!

Hunter dominantly thrust his tongue into my mouth and tasted me fiercely.

I could no longer remember my own name. All that I could sense was his soft tongue and his firm grip on my hips, and I longed to grow closer to him.

This thought caused me to whimper with need, yet I had no experience on how to further our pleasure along.

Hunter must have taken notice to my desires because he took my hand, placing it upon his chest. The feel of his firm muscles under my fingertips filled me with pleasure and I explored him desperately, tracing his hard muscles as he shivered at my touch.

"Alpha? Luna? What is the meaning of this?" Katia burst into the kitchen, attempting to scold us but fighting a smile.

Faun soon followed and burst into fits of laughter, no doubt at our outer layer of white powder.

"Clean yourselves. Now!"
