"The game is simple. Its like capture the flag." Four said. We all had to rush to get ready and make our way down to the tracks and get on the train within 15 minutes. Let me tell you right now, that wasn't easy.

"You will use these. They shoot darts. Stimulate the feeling of a real gunshot wound but caused no damage." He continued and one of the Candor girls snickered behind us.

"You call that a gun." She said.

At that moment Eric picked up a gun and shot her in the leg which caused her to fall to the ground, gasping for air. I fought to hold back a smirk but others didn't.

"Okay. Two teams, Four and I are captains." Eric said.

"You pick first." He then added, glancing at me shortly.

"Okay, Brayden." Four said. I nodded and went to stand at his side. Eric glared at me from where he was standing.

"Sasha." He said. He was just doing this to get back at me.

"Liv." Four said.
"Tom." Eric picked.
"Matt." Four said.
"Pete." Eric said.
"Jack." Four said. Good, all my friends were together I stopped listening after that when I realised they had moved onto Dauntless borns.

"Uriah." Four said.
"Lynn." Eric said. I stopped listening again because no one else really interested me.

"We'll jump first." Four said and walked over to the ledge. I looked back at the other group. They had a strong team and could win, but so could we. My eyes scanned across them until they fell upon Eric who was already staring at me. He started at me with his icy cold eyes and I narrowed mines at him and gave him a look that said, 'You're going down' and I think he got it because he smirked slightly and shook his head. I quickly turned back to my group while we got ready to jump.

.

We walked towards an old fairground where we would regroup and talk about strategies.

"We should just hide the flag and attack." Uriah said.

"That's stupid, they would get our flag before we even got to them." I replied.

"You got a better plan?" He asked me smirking.

"Yeah, actually. Split into two groups, defence and offence. Defence would stay and protect the flag from the other team, while offence will move forward and attack their base to get their flag." I said then shrugged.

"That was a great idea." Four said.

"Not bad Brains, not bad at all." Uriah laughed and I smirked back.

"Okay. Matt, Liv, Uriah and Brayden you are with me in the offence. Everyone else will be defence." Four said.

"Where will we put the flag?" Liv asked.

"Let's put it inside one of the cars in the carousel." Matt suggested.

"Yeah go ahead. Remember and handle it like a real gun." Four warned us. I walked away from the group and over to a tree.

"What are you doing Bray?" Four said from behind me.

"I'm going to climb it. Cover for me." I said and he nodded.

"Be careful." He said. I began climbing the tree to the very top and looked out across the city. I couldn't see the flag but when I looked towards the old look-out building, I saw their flag at the top. I quickly climbed down and ran to the group.

"Their flag is at the top of the old look-out building. We gotta move in now." I said.

"Okay, let's go." Four said and we moved out.

.

When we were in clear view of the look out building, we stopped to come up with a strategy.

"Okay, Matt and I will run to the left and cover for you three. Jack and Bray, you will cover for Liv who will run up to grab the flag. Plan?" Four said and we all agreed. We quickly and quietly ran across the small field towards the building when we were suddenly greeted with flying darts. We all immediately dropped to the ground until they stopped, then got up and started running again. Four and Mart veered off to the left to cover us while we ran. We finally reached the bottom of the stairs and me and Jack turned to cover for Liv. Before I knew it, Jack was on the ground crying in pain and I didn't know what to do, so u ran around the back of the building only to be cut off by someone's hard chest and a gun raised to me.

"How's life with Four." Eric said to me and I raised my gun to him.

"Better than it is here." I replied sarcastically.

"I'm gonna have to shoot you now." He said then smirked so I just smiled sweetly back at him.

"Not a chance." I said and shot him in the leg then the chest and he cried out in pain.

"Sorry!" I shouted before running off the way I came from and I was greeted with cheers. Our team had won. I quickly ran up to Liv and the others and took them in a tight group hug then cheered out.

"We won!" I cheered.

"Yeah! Great job everyone!" Four shouted. At that moment, Eric came stumbling around the corner and I smirked.

"Your leg feel okay Eric?" I taunted him and he gritted his teeth.

"Shut up, Bray." He mocked and I just smirked, I had obviously made him angry. We all walked back to the train then jumped back to the compound and stood around Four and Eric.

"Well done tonight everyone." Four said and we all mumbled in response.

"Now go get some rest, last day of stage one tomorrow." He said to us and we all scurried off.

"Brayden, I need to speak to you." Eric said and gestured me over to him. I slowly walked over and he waited until everyone else was inside so we were the only people by the tracks.

"What?" I asked him tiredly and he looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I just wanted to say well done tonight. Jeez." He muttered and I chuckled.

"Well thank you ever so much Eric." I said sarcastically and he chuckled.

"I like your piercings." He said pointing towards my ear and I smiled.

"Thank you, it was very painful." I said.

"Yeah, I can imagine." He smirked and I shook my head.

"Can I please leave? I need to sleep." I mumbled quietly.

"What Brayden, I can't here you?" He said sarcastically and took a step closer to me.

"Can I go?" I asked just a bit louder.

"Still don't know what you're saying." He said, taking another step so he was close enough that I was able to feel his breath on my face. I decided to tease him a little bit so I leaned up towards his face.

"Can I please go now?" I whispered in his ear, my lips brushing against his ear lightly. I felt him stiffen but he nodded quickly. I smirked and walked back towards the doors.

"Bye bye Eric!" I shouted after him and I saw him nod. I quickly ran through the compound and towards the dorms. As soon as I got there, I flopped down into bed and fell asleep straight away.
