I woke up and saw Eric sleeping peacefully beside me. I smiled and kissed his cheek lightly before getting out of his warm embrace to get ready.
I walked to the bathroom then went to the living room and waited for Eric to get up.
"Good morning." I heard him mumble as he walked into my living room.
"Morning." I said and smiled. He came and sat down on the couch beside me and lay his head on my shoulder. I chuckled and put my head on top of his.
"How much longer do I train with you for?" I asked him and felt him shrug.
"Ask at breakfast." He mumbled and I nodded.
"I'm going to get dressed." I said and he lifted his head off my shoulder. I stood up and put on black clothes then went out and saw Eric fully dressed.
"Let's go." He said and reached out his hand. I quickly took it and we walked to breakfast together.

"So Brayden I have decided, based on reports from Eric, that you don't have to do physical anymore so you will be moving on with Tess." Max said and I nodded.
"Okay that's great. Thank you." I said and started eating.
"Yay we get to spend the day together!" Tess said and I laughed.
"What a joy." I said sarcastically and she chuckled.
"Aw you gonna miss me Eri?" I said teasingly and he shook his head.
"Nope!" He said a little too quickly and I laughed.
"Well Brayden let's go." Tess said and I nodded. I kissed Eric's cheek lightly then stood up with Tess.
"Let's go to mines and I will train you there." She said and I nodded. We walked through the halls chatting about last night and she explained what we were going to be doing.
"So I will tell you scenarios and you will give me the solutions." She said and j nodded. We went through about 20 scenarios and I was pretty good at working out how to handle it.
"Your great at this Bray, you could be a leader by tomorrow if you wanted." She said and I laughed.
"Well I'm gonna go tell Max about your progress and see what he says." She said and I nodded.
"I'll just go for a walk, maybe visit Liv and Jack." I said and she nodded.
"See you later!" I said and walked out of her apartment. I walked to the dining hall to see if anyone was around and I saw Four, Zeke and Uriah sitting at a table. I quickly walked over and sat myself beside Four.
"Hey guys." I greeted.
"Hey Bray." Four said.
"How are you all? I feel like I don't see you guys anymore." I said and pouted.
"Because you're a little miss leader now." Zeke teased and I laughed. We talked for a while and they asked about my training and everything.
"Brayden." A voice said from behind me. I turned and saw Max standing with quite a happy look on his face.
"Yeah?" I said and stood up.
"The other leaders and I have decided that you are finished with your training so it will be announced at dinner tonight." Max said and I grinned widely.
"Thank you so much Max." I said and he nodded.
"Make sure you're there." He said and I nodded. He walked away and I turned back to the guys. I sat down and squealed.
"What?" Four said but I just couldn't stop smiling.
"As of tonight I'm a leader!" I said and they cheered.
"Well done Brayden!" Uriah said and I smiled at him.
"I cannot wait!" I said and they laughed.
"I wish you all the best." Zeke said.
"Thanks guys. I'm going to go see Liv for a bit. See you tonight." I said and winked at them then walked away.

"Liv!" I squealed.
"Brayden!" She shouted back. She hugged me tight and I laughed.
"I've missed you Liv." I said and she nodded.
"Come in!" She said and gestured me in. I walked into her apartment and looked around. It was smaller than mine but it was lovely. I looked around the living room and saw Jack.
"Jacko!" I said and ran to him.
"Braydo!" He said and I laughed. I hugged him tightly and we laughed.
"This is a nice place." I said to Liv as we pulled away.
"Thank you Bray. Now tell me the gossip." She said and I laughed.
"You both might want to turn up to dinner tonight." I said and they sat confused.
"Why?" They both said simultaneously.
"Because as of tonight, I am a Dauntless leader!" I said and they both stood up.
"Oh my god! Congrats Bray!" Liv said and hugged me.
"Thank you." I said then Jack hugged me.
"I'm so proud Brayden." He mumbled into my hair and I smiled.
"Thank you Jack." I said. Liv came and joined our hug and we were like a little family.
"I love you guys." I said and they aww'ed.
"I love you both." Jack said and kissed both our heads.
"I love you both too." Liv said and I smiled. I had the bestest friends in the whole world and I wouldn't change it for anything.

"Everyone listen up!" Max shouted across the rowdy dining hall. I was sitting at the leaders table and no one had even noticed.
"As you all know, Harrison is leaving soon so we need a new leader. For the last couple of days we have been training someone and as of tonight, Brayden is your new Dauntless leader!" He shouted and everyone erupted in cheers.
"Congratulations Brayden." Eric whispered in my ear and I smiled.
"Thank you Eric." I said and he leaned down and kissed me. Everyone around us was still cheering and I could tell, they were happy.
"Wanna get out of here?" Eric whispered to me and I nodded. He grabbed my hand and we walked through the thick crowd to get to the exit. When we did, we walked to his apartment.
"Can I get something from mines? I'll be back in two minutes." I said and he nodded. I jogged down the hall to my apartment and went inside. First, I went and got a change of clothes then I went and got Peter Pan. I walked back to Eric's and walked in. He was sitting shirtless on the couch and looked comfy. I set my clothes down on the table and took the book.
"Wanna read?" He mumbled and I nodded. He patted the space beside him so I went and sat down. He pulled me close and gently took the book out of my hands. He flicked to the page where we last read and we were almost finished the book.
"Then she turned up the light, and Peter saw. He gave a cry of pain; and when the tall beautiful creature stooped to lift him in her arms he drew back sharply." He started. I listened to the words and I related to them. I don't know how but I did. He continued on as we were nearing the end of the book.
"When Margret grows up she will have a daughter, who is to be Peter's mother in turn; and thus it will go on, so long as children are gay and innocent and heartless. The end." He finished and shut the book.
"That was amazing." I said and he nodded.
"I love you Brayden." He said and I smiled.
"I love you Eric." I said and shut my eyes.
How did we end up from a cruel Dauntless leader and a weak Erudite girl, to a Dauntless couple in love.
We have both came so far, and for the better. It's like fighting
