Chapter 23

Suzy's POV

I walked in the corridor to have students coming up to me asking me if I was alright. Okayyy this is weird. At lunch I sat down with Jiyeon and Jieun while students would still come and greet me and ask if I am alright. Before I could ask Jiyeon what's going on, she answered it for me.

"It's Hyuna. She told everyone about what happened at the party last night and you being miss popular, people would be worried about you being there." I formed an 'o' shape and nodded. Hyuna then joined us and we started eating our lunch. After 2 minutes Tao came rushing to my table and nearly tripped over it.

"Hey! Hey Suzy." He said catching his breath. I frowned confused but smiled at him.

"Um...I...um...I heard about last night. Are you okay?" He asked sounding concern.

"Yeah I'm totally fine. It's okay." I smiled. He sigh in relief and nodded before smiling at me. We stared at each other for I believe 10 seconds when someone cleared their throat. I looked away feeling my face heat up. I could see Hyuna and Jieun smirking.

"Hey Tao! Do you mind sitting with us? I want to talk about last night as well." Hyuna offered. Tao's smile got widen and accepted the offer. As Tao sat down next to me Jieun waved to someone behind me. We all turned to see Sehun with a peach juice looking around to find a seat. His eyes found mine and I looked away. Jieun gave another wave to him before saying hi. I think Sehun just gave her a nod or something because Jieun had a disappointed look in her eyes contrast to her bright happy face. Sehun went and sat to a seat next to our table since it's the only seat left.

"So anyway, did you hear the rumour that the woman at the party said the man had a machine gun?" Now everyone at the table is listening.

"Really? I'm so glad none of you guys were near the area when it happened. Can't imagine what'll happen to you guys." Tao said looking at me. From the corner of my eyes I could see Sehun looking at me as well as everyone else. Jiyeon then cleared her throat.

"What about you Tao? What will or what do you think you'll do if you were near the man?" Tao looked up at Jiyeon.

"Well I could have caught him but I was outside at the back near the kitchen that time."

"What?" We all said.

"Oh yeah, I was at the party last night as well." Tao explained seeing our confused expression.

"Anyway, I could have caught him if I was near the area, because people said he went down the elevator right? Well, he's got a machine gun, or some gun but he didn't shoot so it means he's not that harmful. So if he went in the elevator, and I think that's a really stupid idea*chuckle* So anyway I would go to the elevator on floor 1 and wait at corner for him to come out. As soon as the elevator door opened and he stepped out, I would trip him and show him kung fu, twising his hands and--"

A loud scoff or short chuckle was heard to our left. We turn see Sehun grinning before looking up at Tao. I could tell Tao got annoyed because he stood up and walked over to Sehun. Ishh! What is wrong with that Sehun? Before Tao got too close to Sehun, I grabbed his wrist making him stop. Tao looked down at me.

"Don't worry about him." I told him. Tao nodded and was about to walk back to his seat when Sehun spoke up.

"You're all bark but no bite aye?" He said smirking. Great now Tao's pissed off. He walked over to Sehun as Sehun stood up. Now all attention is on them. We stood up as well.

"What did you say?" Tao said through gritted teeth. Sehun just blankly stood there and watched him.

"Did you forgot your lesson?" Sehun smirked which Tao glare went even intense then the last one. If look would kill Sehun is long dead before we know it. Geez that Sehun really like to get on people's nerve. To my surprise Tao smirked.

"Ha, I was going easy on you that time." Tao said and Sehun smiled. A bitter smiled. The room was sooo quiet and tense I could hear my own heartbeat. Everyone in the room is focus on them expecting a fight to happen. And I'm not going to allow that.

"Hey Sehun. Can you mind your own business?" I said walking up next to Tao grabbing his wrist. I don't know if it's my imagination but Sehun looked a bit sad or maybe, just maybe hurt. He looked down my hand on Tao's wrist before looking back up at Tao. I didn't mean any harm or take anyone's side, I just don't want to see violence occurring. I was going to tell Tao to forget about Sehun when someone spoked.

"Tao just leave Sehun. You don't want him to humiliate you again do you?" Jieun said raising an eyebrow at Tao. There were low murmurs around the room and I drag Tao outside the cafeteria not once looking back. I don't know why I did that or why I have this feeling inside of me but I know one thing for sure.

I'm jealous.
