Chapter 18

Sehun's POV

I ran back to my apartment as fast as I can. The way Kai talked to me over the phone sounded very important and urgent. I catch my breath at my front door and take a deep breath in. I opened the door and walked in to see Kai drinking coffee while watching the news. I went and sat opposite of him and waited. He tore his eyes away from the screen and took out his phone flipping through it. Still he didn't say a word to me. I can't help but feel agitated. I wanted to ask him why he's here, is there some news I had to hear? Am I going to get another mission or...Is Park Chanyeol ready?

Kai got the TV remote and turned up the volume, still flipping through his phone. I averted my eyes to the TV. My heartbeat quicken.

Today, Mr. Park , South Korea most successful scientist in the last 20 years has just announced about his new technology called the "X". Mr. Park and his crew have been working on it since the last 3 years and now they have finally finished with it. The "X" is a robotic machine that is designed to help citizens in South Korea feel safe from other country who might invade their country. Mr. Park has sent 500 of the X to the military and are continuing to create more of it. Mr. Ying, the CEO of the Chinese International Science Quarter has also announced that his crew and Mr. Park's are also planing to create another type of X. A robot that will do the humans' work. A congratulation party is held tomorrow night at the Grand Hall as Mr. Park has said over the interview as he wanted to celebrate the work him and his crew have achieved. I snapped my eyes up to Kai when he switched the TV off.

He look straight in my eyes, " The plan has really started now Sehun. Tomorrow night you're going with me and my friend, who is invited to the party. I want you to meet Mr. Park and use your technique to put a tracking device on him. The clothes and weapons are in your bedroom already. And in 1 weeks, I'll drop you out of school. I'm sure by then we'll be half way through your revenge son."

I gulped. "Understood father."I replied firmly.

"You don't look quite happy when I mentioned you dropping out of school. Have you made a friend yet?" Kai asked leaning back in the couch.

"No father, I have not. It's just that this will be the first time meeting him in real person, and I don't want to stuff it up by blowing up on him." I replied.

"Well I just want to remind you not to get involve with outsiders until your mission is complete. Distraction is not want we need when you're ready to make a big step." Kai said as he got up and walked over to the door.

"Go and get rest now, tomorrow is a big day. Well your big day." was what he told me before walking out and shutting the door behind him. I was left in my thought. I clenched my hands and breathed in slowly to calm my nerve. Park Chanyeol. Just wait and enjoy the things you have now. Soon you'll see how it feels to lose everything.

I got up and cleaned up Kai's coffee. After showering I head in my bedroom to see a brand new suit still in plastic on my bed with a grey suitcase next to it. Looks like I got some new gadget. I put on some new clothes and head out to the kitchen when there was a knock on my door. I stopped and grabbed a knife walking slowing to the front door. My pulse quickens as I got closer to the door. I looked into the peep hole but no one was there. My grip tighten to the knife as I opened the front door.

"AARRRHH!!" A person came out of nowhere making a scary face I grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him inside shutting the door as soon as he was in the room. I pinned his against the wall and up the knife under his chin. That's when I got to see who he was. "D.O?! What the hell?!" I exclaimed frowning. I was shocked, surprise and confuse at the same time.
