Chapter 22

Suzy's POV

"You ready Suzy?" Jiyeon called from my bedroom.

"Yep finish." I replied as I walked out of the bathroom to see Jiyeon dressed in her beautiful dress. We went down stairs to see Jiyeon's parents talking to Principal Yoon. Apparantly Principal Yoon and Jiyeon's father Kim Jong Dae, I can't believe I never knew this. We greeted each other.

"Thank you for inviting me along Mr and Mrs Kim." I told them. Mrs.Kim smiled.

"It's alright sweetie. We want you to have fun as well as keep you safe while your parents are away." Mr.Kim. Principal Yoon has to go so he left while we patiently wait to Hyuna to finish up.

~~At the party~~

We arrive at the party exactly 8:35pm when Mr and Mrs Kim part away from us.

"Great now we miss Dr.Park's speech." Jiyeon said particularly to Hyuna, which she shrugged it off.

"As expected, formal party are always booorriiinggg." Hyuna said dragging the last word. I look around to see people enjoying themselves. I don't know why but my mind is expecting to see Sehun somewhere.

"Hey I need to use the bathroom." I excuse myself as I search for the toilet. After doing my business and washed my hands I heard fainted screaming outside. I was about to opened the exit door, when somebody rushed in to bump into me which cause me to lose my balance.

"Ouch!" I stood up to see Sehun staring at me. My eyes widen because I was shocked to see him here, in the girls' toilet! There were men shouting at the back so he ran to the back of the room to climb out of the window. I want to tell him to stop and talk to me, but I don't know what to talk about. He looked back at me when Jiyeon shouted my name and he disappear when Jiyeon came in the bathroom.

"Hey we have to go. There's a man with a gun in here! Everyone's evacuating now, let's get out of here." Jiyeon explained with panic in her voice. I nodded because I was too confuse. Jiyeon dragged me out and we followed the crowd outside.

Sehun's POV

"IT'S ALL OVER THE NEWS NOW!! HOW CAN YOU MESS UP A SIMPLE TASK?! YOU NEARLY RISKED YOUR LIFE. MY LIFE. OUR LIVES AND MY SECRETS!" Kai shouted at me pacing around my living room with the news on. He rubbed his temple before taking a seat in front of me. I stare out into space avoiding his gaze. I feel really guilty right now.

"I'm sorry." I apologise to Kai. He looked at me, thinking.

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be mad at you. I'm just, a bit freaked out." Kai said burying his head in his hands. "As long as you're safe and finish the mission we're okay.*Sigh* you completed the task so it's alright." I nodded before giving him the tracking device. Kai took it and scan it seeing that the light is green. He looked at me and smiled.

"I'm proud of you." I nodded before D.O interrupted us.

"Hey Sehun, you followed Chanyeol and Dr.Ying and another man upstairs right? What did you see?" I nodded at him before looking back at Kai.

"Yeah, I was about to tell you that. When I went in there, Chanyeol and Dr.Ying were talking about a man." Kai frowned confused but remain silence.

"And I don't really know what they're on about but Dr.Ying claim he saw the man and wanted him captured. That's why there were suspicious men at the party because they were searching for the man." I explained.

"So do you know who this man is?" Kai asked. I shook my head.

"They didn't mention his name but they had a picture of him but I didn't get a glimpse of it because the bodyguard was in the way." Kai stood up and turned off the T.V.

"Well let's not worry about something we don't know. For now focus on your mission. And Sehun, don't rush things too much." Kai said before leaving out my door. I give a deep sigh out and D.O sat down next to me.

"Dude, what happened last night? How did they even find the tiny device? You sure made Kai pissed off but not long." D.O smiled. I shook my head getting up.

"I don't know man. I think I missed a time that's how the woman saw me." D.O hummed and stood up to walk to the front door.

"Well, rest well and sleep tight. I'm going." He said waving at me without looking before closing the door. I sighed as I got ready to clean up and ready for bed. Only one week of school and I'm out of it.
