Sir,

Your latest request for targeted surveillance is being carried out as we speak. However, all previous attempts to trace the movement profile of TARGET 34-07 ["IRENE ADLER"] have failed due to the inaccurate information provided by the National Identity Register. Obviously, the target's registration data has been deliberately manipulated by a third party.

TARGET 34-07 is suspected to be in posession of various classified documents concerning a major business partner of the Ministry of Defence. Should the target decide to publish these documents, it would cause a highly embarrassing situation for various top-ranking government officials. I repeatedly advice you to treat the matter as extremely urgent.

Ongoing investigations suggest that TARGET 34-07 might be connected to the "Edinburgh election affair" in 2022 as well as being the main suspect for the exposure of GCHQ's confidential budget lists in 2023. If convicted, TARGET 34-07 would face charges of high treason and endangerment of state interests. The GCHQ would be proud to support these charges with direct action.
