"The Crimson Assassin Strikes again in the town of Ferrington, teenage girl Amber Shrine was killed last night in a horrific incident. That is now the third teenage girl killed by the Crimson Assassin in the past two weeks," The news presenter said. I looked at Crystal. "Did you do it?" I asked. She nodded. "It's this arvo at 3 pm," she said leaning forward on my bed. "Ok, what animal?" I asked. We burned the ashes of an animal in place of me, burry the ashes in a small grave with people around for the funeral. "A deer, same weight as you," she said. "Ok," I said. "So are you going to be there?" she asked me. "Yeah, maybe, you'll know I'm there," I said. "Okay, we better shut the blinds," she said. We got up and shut all the blinds in the house.

We heard a knock at the door. Crystal hesitantly moved over and looked through the door. "Casper," she said turning to me, I was hiding at the basement entrance. She opened the door slightly so he could just slide through. "Hey," he said. "So?" I asked. "The pack knows of the idea, the news of your death is spreading, and its hard in school, Jake wasn't there but I can't blame the guy, he lost you," he said. I rubbed my mark. "Oh and Blaze and I are talking, she so pretty, did you know she's a hard on gamer sh-", "CASPER!" Crystal interrupted. "Sorry," he said.

"Ok, we go from here, Casper, you and I will go to the funeral at three, Crimson, you can go if you want, it's your decision," She said. "Wait, as Crimson or someone else?" Casper said. "It will be too hard for me standing there, I'll be in the trees," I said. "Ok, I should probably go get ready," he said. I checked the time, it was '2:30 pm' already. "Yeah, same," Crystal said, Casper hugged me and left. Crystal patted my shoulder.

I went back to my room. I looked back at the tv. "The search and look out for The Crimson Assassin has been advanced, more people are searching and being cautious about going into the forest, trails have been closed and there is a curfew of 10 pm for everyone to be out of the trees," a policeman said on the tv. I plonked down on the bed. I looked at the small pink motorbike that lay on my beside table. I picked it up.

I ran my finger over the paint and felt a strange mark. I felt over it and squinted, engraved into the steel where letters. 'JN AS <3' was etched into the back of the bike. I held in a breath trying to keep myself calm. I put it back down and curled up into a ball. "See you there?" Crystal said at the door. I nodded. She nodded and walked out. I walked up to my closet and opened it. I lifted the plank of wood on the bottom of the cupboard, my suit set up. I laid it on the bed.

All black, great for what I'm doing. Boots, skirt, tights, top, jacket, weapons, gloves and hood. I put it all on, my daggers, knives, sword, bow, quiver, crossbow, arm blade, rope, hook, and all the rest, but of course no guns. I looked at my self in the log length mirror. I looked into my eyes and saw sadness, covered by black. My hair changed black and my eyes darkened.

I looked at my phone. '3:10'. I quickly but quietly jumped out and slid down the window. I Vampire sped through the trees, i saw police tapping up the trails. I arrived at the grave yard. I stayed in the darkness of the trees at the top. I took a think branch. I crouched on it one hand on the tree and another on my daggers. I used my vision and hearing to amplify what was happening. I saw a slab of concrete with engravings, a picture of 'Amber Shrine', flowers, notes and a skate board. I nearly started to scream.

I saw Crystal go up beside Jake. "Now, would anyone like to say a few words?" the man at the front said. I saw Jake walk up. OH BLADE IM GONNA CRY. I saw his eyes red and puffy, his cheeks stained from tears. "Amber Shrine wasn't just-just my friend, she was my girlfriend, she was my mate, on the outside she seems like a girly girl who had just steep out of the mall, but she wasn't really like that, she surprised me with her knowledge on motorbikes, her girly side fades when you get closer, you see her as more of between a girly girl and a tomboy. She was always there when you needed her and someone you could always rely on for a shoulder to cry on. It takes a certain type of monster to kill someone like that, So when I'm better, I will seek revenge for my mate and hunt down the Crimson Assassin, even if i have to kill her," he said. He was crying. From behind my vision of trees reporters and media popped up asking him questions. What looked like his mother guided him off to join everyone else.

I whipped a tear from my cheek. I sat on the tree branch watching the rest of the funeral. "...She was a good cousin, but a better friend, and now i don't have much left, but I'm going to soldier on, because I know she's watching, from somewhere," she said, her glare shifted for a bit and looked directly at me, I nodded and she started to cry.

"Thank you ladies and gentleman, that will be all for today," the man said. I saw Blaze crying in Caspers chest. I turned away and leapt down from the tree. I jogged off back into the trees. I stopped, I heard the pull of a string. I ducked as an arrow swooped over my head. It landed in the tree besides me with a PLONK. I looked to where it came from. I ran. I could hear my attacker approaching behind. I spun into a dead end, a huge rock, a cliff faced me. "Oh..CRAP," I said. I heard feet sliding across leaves. I turned keeping my head down and stood shoulder width apart facing my attacker. A girl a bit shorter than me appeared with a bow, she was a hunter.

I did my usual defence. I flashed my eyes, I ignited my flame aura, My kitsune fox aura appeared around me showing a fox out of flames, a fox with two tails. The bow dropped out of the girls hand. Then it looked like the earth had raised up around her. The dirt made an aura around her as well except her fox had one tail, her eyes flashed the same as mine, Red with gold, the whites now red and and aura of a fox, teeth and claws sharper then any wolf. "Holly?" I said. She came into view clearer, it was her Holly. "Crimson?" she said. I covered my mouth and ran to her hugging her. We both hugged tightly crying in joy. "I thought you died," I said holding her. "Same, I thought you died in the fire, the fire that killed Caleb, mum and dad" she said. I found my sister, my little sister.
