Chapter 15: Should I Stay? (Last Chapter)

This is a short chapter, it is the last one as well so I hope you enjoy!!!

"Wow...now it's all fitting together," Blaze said first. I had my head down, I didn't know what they would think of me. "So you've been doing this for...practically your whole life?" Lenard said. I nodded. "AWESOME," he cheered, everyone looked at him. "I mean, but sad at the same time" he added looking embarrassed. "So you have been acting on life or death decisions?" Jake said. "Pretty much," I replied. "And Casper, you are one of them?" Jake said. "Well I was, I came here as a messenger and became a spy...no, that's not the right word...well you get the picture," he said. "Wait, so Holly was in the fire as well?" Olivia said. "Yep, our brother protected me by...sacrificing himself," Holly said fiddling with her bow string.

"Hey, if Holly's like you, doesn't that mean she's as powerful as you?" I heard. "Sorta, for our Kitsune fox spirits, we have these abilities, one of the elements. My mother was air, Caleb my brother: water, I'm fire and Holly..." I said, She smiled and cracks in the earth appeared, spirals of soil erupting into the air. "Wow," they said. "Yup".

"Crimson." I heard in my head. "Crystal," I replied. "The people in the basement," she said. "Oh blades," I said. "I'll just quickly speed over there and erase their memory," she said, in seconds she left, then came back looking even more tired. "Done," she said. "Where did you put them?" I asked. "Oh...right um...top of the mountain," she said. "...Still, works" I replied. There was silence among the group for a bit.

"Ok I'm sorry I have to," Blaze said standing up, I didn't know what she was doing but she came over and hugged me. I chuckled. "Um...thanks," I said. "So what are you going to do now?" Tony said. I seriously had no clue. "Well I didn't think this far ahead, I didn't actually think I would make it this far," I said rubbing my neck. Scarlet's eyes lit up. "Why don't you just stay here?" she said. "I...I don't know..iI would, really, I love this place but...the rest of The Markers Pack they are going to be lost" I said. "I got it" Casper budding in. I looked at him thankfully. "I'll get them under control," he said. "Please stay Crimson, you could enroll at the high school but as someone else," Blaze said, a lot of them made puppy eyes at me.

I looked at Crystal. "If you stay I'll stay," she said. "Me too," Holly said. I turned back to everyone. "Well I don't have anywhere else to go really, I'll stay".
