Chapter 1

Eren's pov

Hello, my name is Eren Jeager. I am 15 years old and have been attending Maria middle school. But now, starting high school, I am going to Rose high school. Not that I am complaining. I am just the type of kid who likes not going to school. And I am not your average student either. Living in the forest and having a long drive into town, just to go to school, it gets kinda boring and annoying. But, living in the forest is calm and peaceful, but very lonely. Not hanging out with friends and such, I kinda hate that.

But forget about that.

My family's life is more interesting. I mean, if you can keep it secret, being a werewolf is pretty awesome. But yet, we have to watch out for the neighbors, because they aren't the get along type, so to say. But, I have been curious my whole life, just to see what they are, and why we can't be friends and such.

But, oh well...I will find out one of these days and maybe I can try to be friends with the one neighbor.

"Eren come on, wake up, you are going to be late for your first day of school."

I growled and rolled into a ball on my bed, not wanting to wake.

"Eren James Jeager! Wake up this instant!"

I opened to eye, to see my mother glaring down at me and shouting in my ear. Covering my ears with my pillow, I rolled over on my other side, mumbling. "I don't wanna...tired.."

But the next thing I knew, I was being pulled out of bed, and carried on my father's shoulder down the stairs.

"Dad let me go! I want to sleep!" Shouting and clawing, he didn't let me go, until he set me down at the dining table.

"Now you are going to stay awake and eat." My father stated as he sat next to me.

"Then you are going to be having a bath." My mother said after words.

I frowned, "but mom! You know I am 15 I don't need you to give me baths anymore!"

"No need to shout. I never said that I was going to. So, hurry and eat."

After eating, taking my shower, and getting dressed. My father was taking me to school, but I was not that happy about it, when he stopped in front of the school. I could already smell the human scents, by just sitting in the car. I growled, not wanting to get out.

"Son, I want you to try to understand here. This is the start of where you need to be looking-"

"I know! Okay, bye!" I shouted, getting out of the car. Because I didn't want to hear anymore of his chatter about some useless things.

I watched him sigh and drive off, before I walked into the school.

Sitting in the opening ceremony, my eyes started to wander around the random students.

Why was I doing that? I don't even know anymore, but for some reason I was.

As, the ceremony had ended, I headed to my first class, then later in the day, I headed to my other classes. Last class of the day, I walked into a room, to see a kid getting picked on.

On the first day?! You have got to be kidding me.

But I ran over, shoving this tall blonde guy out of the way. "Why don't you pick on somebody your own size, jackass!"

"Oh, so you want to fight the armored man? Who is number one in tackling in football? But, if not, then okay. We were only having a little fun with this chick."

I glared at him, before my eyes darted over to a small blonde, I blushed at how cute that blonde one was as there were little tears streaming down her face.

I then picked up a sweet scent as I stepped closer, taking her out of the other guys grip.

As if I could smell roses in her hair or something. Like she was a beautiful rose.

"You guys need to leave her alone and treat her with respect." I stated, before I felt her tug on my shirt.

"Boy.."

"Huh?" I asked confused, and feeling more like I wanted this one to be mine. Like my wolf had told me to find one for my pack, to continue the line of my family. She looked so adorable.

"Boy..I-I am a boy.."

I blinked surprised as well as everyone else in the room.

"So, you like to play with a guys mind huh?" I heard Reiner say as he took the boy out of my arms.

I blinked surprised, and a bit angry that he took my partner.

"N-no! I promise I didn't mean to!" I heard him shout, but was if the guys ignored him.

"Hey, put him down!"

"Shut it you dumbass!" I heard as two guys blocked my way.

Reiner lifted the blonde into the air by his shirt and glared "Huge mistake blonde."

The blondes eyes open wide as they possibly could as he was thrown into a wall, and fell to the ground laying there, unconscious.

I growled, punching the guys that were in my way, kicking Reiner in the gut, then elbowing the top of his head, sending him to the ground.

Then looking to the blonde, I ran to him, holding him in my arms. "Hey, you okay?"

Yet, there was no response.

Leaning my head down to his chest, I could hear his heart beat, so I was happy about that.

Since I didn't know who it was, and hated the school so much, I just took him to my home.

Well, half way there, walking in the forest, I felt him stutter in my arms.

Fluttering his eyes open, looking around, I saw that he was confused, till he looked at me and blushed.
