Chapter 9: Day After

Logan's POV

" Logan! Logan wake up!" Someone said in my ear. I groaned and turn over.

" Hangovers suck eh?" The voice chuckled. I groaned again but this time sat up.

" Mornin' sunshine." Kyle chuckled.

I threw my pillow at him.

''C'mon get up we have school." He said shaking me. I rolled over thinking there was mattress but ended up falling about a foot to the ground.

" You can shower here but you can either wear the same clothes you have on or some of fine." He offered. I nodded and sat up and Kyle showed me the bathroom. Why am I at Kyle's house?!?

I took the quickest shower possible and came out in my boxers and underarmer shirt.

" Um just pick out whatever and come downstairs when I'm done." Kyle murmured. I nodded and awalkwardly looked over his closet.

I found a pair of dark baggy jeans and a American eagle tee with a monster energy sweater. I got dressed and came downstairs to find Kyle making breakfast.

'You cook?' I wrote astonished. He nodded.

" Ya and I kinda like my clothes on you." Kyle smirked. I blushed.

'So um why am I here again?' I wrote thinking back to my previous thoughts. He made his own plate and gestured for me to sit down.

" You don't remember anything?" He asked. I shook my head.

" Alright well after we got home from your date I dropped you off and went home. I got a bad feeling so went back to yours and your mom said you took off. I punched your dad then took off to find you and I found you drunk and about to jump off the bridge and kill yourself so I took you here." Kyle explained quietly.

Wow I really tried it again? I must have been VERY drunk.

'Im sorry.' I wrote sincerely. Kyle shook his head.

"It's alright. We better go, were going to be late for school." He muttered. I finished my breakfast dying inside and we got in his car.

" I really do like you Logan I'm not using you." Kyle said so quietly I barely heard him.

'What do you mean?' I wrote confused. He shook his head.

" Nothing."

'No Kyle. What do you mean?' I wrote stubbornly.

" Damnit Logan just drop it!!" He yelled. I shrunk back and towards the window. He looked at me guiltily.

" I'm sorry Logan I'm just confused I'm sorry I scared you. I promise I will never hurt you." Kyle said softly. I nodded but stayed huddled near the window.

We parted ways at school and I met up with Kale after.

" Where have you been the past few days!?!" She exclaimed.

'Good to see you too Kale.' I wrote sarcastically.

" Where?" She asked again smiling.

'Well slept in late Friday and Monday um I wasn't feeling well.'

" Oh really?" She questioned. " I heard people saw you leaving and coming to school today with Kyle Reid. Plus your wearing his clothes."

Shit.

'Well he um took me to his house because I wasn't feeling well then drove me today.' I lied.

" Logan." She sighed.

" Nobody's always happy and fine Logan. You can tell me anything that's what best friends are for." Kale said. I nodded.

'Ill explain later alright just not now.' I wrote. She nodded then pulled me in for a hug.

" Luv ya Logan!" She teased. I smiled.

'Luv ya too Kale.' I wrote.

" Now what's up with you and Kyle?" Kale asked teasingly. I blushed.

'Um we went on a date Friday and um kissed a few times...' I admitted.

" OH MY GOD YOU GUYS FUCKED DIDN'T YOU?!?!" She shouted. I blushed deeper red and shook my head violently.

'No!!' I wrote. She laughed.

" I'm joking! So are you guys going on a second date?" Kale asked. I nodded.

'Uh no..' I wrote awalkwardly. Kale looked at me apologetically.

" Sorry." She mumbled.

'Its alright I don't really mind.' I wrote.

" Anywhore I better get home teachers are trying to drown us in homework." Kale sighed. I nodded.

'Alright talk to you later bye Kale!' I wrote.

" Bye Logan!" Kale called. I waved and hopped into my truck and drive home dreading what was coming.

"LOGAN MAY WE HAVE BEEN SO WORRIED!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?!?!" My mom screamed as I stepped through the door. I glared at her.

'Bullshit you guys were worried Kyle told me everything.' I wrote.

" Logan were your parents of course we care! That boy was just making stuff up! I don't want you seeing him." She said flatly. I laughed.

'Oh ya you care when dads fucking beating and raping me! And you've never been my mother so you can't tell me who to see and who not to see. I love Kyle and I'm going to see him if I want!' I wrote.

" YOUR FATHER HAS NEVER RAISED A HAND TO YOU!! I AM TOO YOUR MOTHER AND I WILL TOO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO!! I WILL NOT HAVE A FAGGOT AS A SON!!" She shouted angrily. Really were going back to playing innocent?

'Um ok? Speaking if him where is my innocent father?' I wrote sarcastically.

" Work." She muttered. I shook my head and pushed past her into my room. I flopped down on my bed and scrolled through my phone.

1 new message from 'Mr Sexy'

'Hey Logan everything alright?'

I smiled and responded.

'I guess got bitched at when I got in the door but my fathers not home yet so I'm good thanks for caring.'

':( I'm sorry your stuck there Logan I'm gonna get you out sometime I promise.'

'Thats easier said then done Kyle.'

'I know but I'm not giving up on you Logan.'

'Why? I'm just a fucked up kid. Why waste your time on me?'

'Your not fucked up Logan your just going through a rough time like everyone else does at some point in their life. I'm not wasting my time because its with you.'

'Thanks Kyle You have no idea how happy that makes me feel to know somebody cares.'

'No problem you deserved to be loved. Speaking of love, how would you like to go on another date with me...?'

'I would love that but if there's a next time I'm planning it!'

'Agreed how about Friday? :)'

'Perfect.'

'Ok well I'll let you get some sleep. Night Logan <3'
