"Who are you?" Alexandra said ripping her hand away from Samuel's.

"What do you mean Alexandra? It is me Samuel!" Samuel said trying to grab her hand again and looking at her dumbfounded.

Trying to scoot away from Samuel she said, "I don't know any Samuel! Get away from me!"

As his heart started to break at every word that she said he got up, ran out of the room, all the way to his car, sat in the front seat, and gripped the steering wheel. All of his worst fears were coming true ever since he started dating Alexandra. In a moment, surrounded by all this madness, tears started falling from his eyes. They kept falling, and falling never letting up! In no time he was almost out of tears. Trying his hardest to stop his tears they finally let up. Suddenly a voice, that was very familiar, started to call out to him.

"Samuel!" I said in a small raspy voice.

Samuel quickly looked up noticing the voice as me. Taking my hand he quickly said, "I can't believe that you are awake! Oh my gosh!" He then quickly added, "I am going to go get a nurse okay I will be right back."

When Samuel left I sat in my hospital bed thinking of why I was in a hospital. I tried to sit up but then a sharp pain erupted from my back to my ribs. I screamed in pain still not knowing what was going on. Soon three nurses and Samuel ran into the room with worry in their eyes. As tears started to fall from my eyes, Samuel had gotten over to me and was holding my hand. The doctors started prodding at my stomach, where my ribs were, and tried to calm me down. I tried my hardest to calm down and do what the doctors told me to do because my side was gradually becoming more painful. Soon enough, I slowed my breathing and crying down to a whimper.

"Alexandra you can't try and get up. You are not....." One of the nurses was interrupted by my urgency.

I looked around tears still flooding in my eyes, "Why am I here? Why do my ribs feel like I just got hit by a truck? I didn't get hit by a truck did I?"

The nurse looked at her reassuringly, "You need to calm down a bit more, and no you did not get hit by a truck. I think that Samuel will tell you later on what happened to you. Right now you need to get some rest. Do you want any medications? They will help with the pain a lot!"

Laying my head down I said almost in a whisper, "Yes please. But can Samuel stay with me!"

"I will stay with you. I will never leave you alone, ever again." Samuels face was sorrowful but reassuring.

The doctors then came into the room with my medicine and gave it to me to take. Shortly after that I started to get drowsy. I fought the drowsiness just long enough to have a short conversation with Samuel. "Did you ever get to leave?"

"No I didn't want to. I told you that I will never leave you again! When I mean never, I really mean never!" Samuel said grabbing her hand and slightly squeezing it.

Looking into his eyes I proclaimed, "I promise to never leave you ever again." A single tear fell from my eyes before I fell asleep.

About a few hours later I woke up. "Samuel," she said trying to wake him up.

After rustling around a bit he looked up at her worried, "Are you okay?"

Giggling I declared, "Of course I am okay! I just wanted to know what time we could leave."

"I think that we can leave right now! Let me go check." Samuel declared getting off of the chair that was right next to Alexandra's hospital bed.

Soon enough Samuel came back into the room with a nurse by his side. The nurse sort of just stared at me before I broke the silence, "So, can I leave?"

The nurse looked at her apologetically and proclaimed, "Yes we just have to be sure that you can walk first."

I looked at Samuel in fear because I didn't think that I would be able to walk. Later on I tried to walk not exceeding anyone's expectations. After a few tries I was able to get off of the bed. Although the determination that I had made Samuel very proud of me, and his constant cheering me on like I was in some sort of race was making me more determined.

"I am so proud of you Alex!" Said both the nurse and Samuel at the same time.

I looked up quickly my smile leaving my face, "Since when did you start calling me Alex."

The nurse looked a little nervous, "Samuel told me that you would rather be called Alex."

"Oh ok. I am sorry. I didn't mean to blow up at you like that. I just hurt really badly." I said a tear escaping my eyes.

The nurse looked at her reassuringly, "It is totally okay. I get it, but I think that you can go home now. I am pretty sure that you are good to go."

Soon enough Samuel and I was on our way home after an hour.
