The Land of Elves Part 2
((Lady Juliana of the Elves Up Above Chapter))°Historia's Pov°
"What?! Mother, she is not a threat! Stop this madness!" Hunter yelled at his mother after she said those words. My heart pounded as Lady Juliana grinned wickedly at me, a tint of revenge in her eyes.
"Nonsense! Guards, get her out of my sight!" Lady Juilana snapped her fingers without taking her malicious gaze off me. I glanced at the four Elven guards that pointed the tips of their spears towards me and surrounded me so there was no escape.
"Hey!" Hunter punched one of the Elven guards in the face as the guard grabbed me roughly on the shoulder. When Hunter socked him in the jaw, the guard let me go, causing me to swiftly pull out the sword Luna had given me for protection.
The sword began to glow a indigo and I smashed the hilt of it against one of the other guards head, causing him to limp and fall to the floor before he even had a chance to stab his spear into me.
Then I felt a hand go on my shoulder and I almost stabbed Hunter as he pulled me into his chest to dodge a swipe of a spear. I sighed in relief but didn't let Hunter get in the way of my fighting. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a glint of sliver flash before I shoved Hunter out of the way of an incoming spear. I felt a sharp pain in my arm as the blade cut my flesh and I gripped the wound, feeling the blood run through my fingers. But that didn't stop me from slashing at the Elf woman with my sword. I was angry, confused and hurt.. Not a very good combination.
I heard Lady Juliana yell for more guards and my eyes widened as I knocked out the elven woman and saw over 20 guards coming. That's way too many... Even for Hunter and I to fight.
But somehow, Hunter and I came back to back, our swords ready to attack if any of them made a disregarded move.
"Hunter... Get over here. Now." Lady Juliana maliciously demanded Hunter. I glanced at Hunter as I saw his grip waver on his sword but kept a firm grip on it.
"Hunter..." I whispered, my grip tightening. I didn't want him to get hurt because of me. I shut my eyes and did something I never thought I would do...
I surrendered. Dropping my sword, I went to my knees with my head bowed and hands in the air. This was for Hunter.
"Historia! What are you doing?" Hunter looked at me but remained in his stance.
"Go to your mother." I muttered blankly. Hunter's flashed with an emotion I couldn't read and then he gritted his teeth.
"No."
"Hunter...."
"I said No! I will not let them kill you! It's wrong!" Hunter yelled at me. What shocked me more than his outburst was a tear slipped out of his eye and rolled down his scarred cheek.
I sighed and got up, still holding me hands into the air. "I'm sorry for this Hunter...."
Hunter tilted his head at me from over his shoulder. "Sorry for wha-" I cut him off by punching him straight in the face, knocking him out cold.
His body fell to the floor with a thud and his sword with a loud clatter. I turned towards the guards.
"Are you going to bind me or not?" and with that, I found myself being led to a jail cell in tight spelled ropes to my doom.
I'm sorry Hunter.
°Hunter's Pov°
I felt like my body was weightless until I woke up to the sound of bells in the square. I sat up, grabbing my cheek and groaning. Historia packed a punch......
