My Brother's Best Friend

A/N so some pictures of a character in the story will be above (in app) and thanks to book_covers4u for making the awesome cover. The picture is of the main character - Kristen. Her hair is the result of a prank. Also my chapters are not proof read/ pre edited so comment if you see a mistake or if you like the book thanks

I wake up and get ready for another boring day of school. I go down to get breakfast and my brother Derrick isn't there which is surprising. He usually always wants to beat me to breakfast.

I finish some cereal I go upstairs and look in the mirror.

My hair is the most ugly color ever. Green.

I scream for my older brother "DERRICK WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR?!" I open the door to his room and he is in his bed on his phone. He puts it down and walks over to me.

"Hey Kristen I thought you hated green."

"I do." I snap.

"Then why is your hair green?" He laughs.

"Because you did this!" I yell.

"Relax-"

"Why would I relax my hair is this ridiculous color" I say while staring at my hair in disgust.

"It's not permanent."

"I hate you on so many levels." I sigh while pushing him out of my way.

"Love you too sis!"

I shower and my normal hair color returns.

Thank gosh.

"Kristen!" Derrick yells.

I come downstairs "what?"

"Down come home his weekend. I'm having the football team over and I don't need my lame sister here."

"Whatever I'll stay at a friends. Your driving me to school today since you made me take the bus all the other days."

"Can't." He says and runs off.

I sigh again and rose he stupid school bus again. Time for school. Yay. Please note my sarcasm.
