Emily's POV
I am here. Silently watches them. They don't care though I am in front of class. I know them all. Most of all, Jessie.
There was still no sign of Jessie Perez, and basically they all stopped searching, finding there is no longer any hope.
"She'll come back when she wants to..." said Rafael, one of the brains in Jade.
"And what if she doesn't? What if she needs our help?" asked another, named Zyrll.
As the two continued to converse, the others were busy with their own things.
Migs, the Leader, along with Ricardo and Philipe were currently talking about the quests and such.
Dave and Ian were busy doing programs (games)
One group of Jaders, namely M6, were currently in their own little world in the front of the room, where they were seated.
The other group of Jade, the OWCA, were at the back of M6, they too, were talking.
"Yeah, hey c'mon take a picture of our Muse and Escort!" said MM.
Sophia, a member of OWCA, happily did so.
The 'muse and escort' frowned upon knowing what the two did. Though, knew more than to just complain, since this already happened quite a number of times before.
In the corner of the table, was Angela, who was silently reading a book. She was usually quiet and unsociable but once you get a book out of her hand, and start talking to things she can relate to, she opens up. She can also mind-read people and use telekinesis. She is sometimes called by Max as the 'Icy Nidhogg'.
Beside Angela was Sophia, a jolly and friendly girl. She is liked by everybody. But only the OWCA knows her best. She is always loyal to her friends, and helps them when they are in trouble, but pranks them in return. Her specialty is in Illusions. She is called by Max as the 'Illusionary Girl'. She is now just basically keeps on teasing Dave right now.
And there MM, she's like the combination of Sophia and Angela. She is jolly and a little bit childish. But she's like a closed book, no one ever knew what's the real her. She acts like a weird kid and that's also the reason why other people don't like her. She has a power of controlling the objects. She is sometimes called by Max the 'Mysterious Swan'.
On the left of her was Max, who for some reason has an alias, called 'CorEagle'. I don't know why he is famous because of that though. He is a master swordsman of the OWCA group who has a tendency to mercilessly tease and prank other people. Very loyal to his friends but does what is the first important. Right now he is half-asleep and half not while reading a book. He sometimes gets into that trance, though I do not know why.
Next to him was Dave, who was playing with his friend Ian, who is the video game addict around here. Due to his constant playing, he ends up with abnormally fast reflexes and excellent hand-eye coordination. Dave right now is battling with Ian in whatever they are playing to see who the best is. He is also one of the OWCA that basically removes his 'mask' the most.
Angela though, there are times when she snaps, causing everyone to go dead silent. One look --or should I say glare-- is all it takes to shut them up...
Well some of them anyways...
They were all so busy, doing their own little things in their own little world, that they didn't notice me.
I slowly walked up to the glass case. With a flick of my hand, the barrier disappeared.
The guardian's power was down to its minimal since it was conserving its energy. Also it was it's time to rest.
Too bad, everyone was too busy to notice me.
They made my job way too easy.
'Tsk tsk, they should never let their guard down.' And with that, I swiftly placed my hands in the gem's side as I slowly took it out of the case. I slowly placed it in my container, and I left. But since I was too careless and basically forgot that I was still in Jade, and that the guardian's powers may be minimal, I forgot that his senses are very strong...
And he heard me, when I snapped my fingers.
'Wrong move, I should've just flicked my hand...' I thought.
"WHO GOES THERE?!" he asked as he slowly stood up to his full height, he was tall and powerful. His senses are keen and his movements are fast.
I slowly started to walk away when...
"STOP!" and with that, right there in front of me, the guardian stood as he eyed me.
"THIEF!" he said.
And then the Jaders came.
Oh goody, I just had to let my guard down...
