Emily's POV

I jumped high in to the air and landed at the other side of the room. By now, all the Jaders were here, weapon in hand.

The M6 were holding weapons but they weren't really trained for fighting but they know what they're doing.

The brains were holding all sort of stuff that I couldn't even explain.

The OWCA members were standing there, telepathically making a plan.

Max was preparing his sword and battle coat. Sophia was already applying her illusions to her group. MM silently begin to gather the shadows. Dave gets out his battle hand guards and steel shoes. Angela looked at me with a blank expression on her face and just continued reading...

What the he---

I dodged just about time before the Guardian's huge sword collided with my neck.

I dodged once more when he took another swing. I took out my own weapon from my back and used it to stop his attack when our two swords clashed.

They were amazed with my strength, how can someone like me even be close to dodge an attack by their guardian? Too bad, I'm not ordinary. But I'm not also abnormal. I'm just plain different.

As the fight progressed, I had manage to land a few hits on him but of course, he wasn't a normal person, he had the ability to heal himself, but I am not an ordinary person either, So he wasn't able to heal all of my attacks.

Max is constantly pressuring me with all his feints and slashes.

Dave will tank any damage sent to any of them.

Sophia's illusions kept me seeing what is isn't there.

MM's hasn't doing anything but my mind is always in panic about her.

All the other Jaders were attacking with all their weapons, although they hardly harmed me, the

sheer amount of attacks that were thrown at me were always pressuring me down.

I, on the other hand, had a cut from my right leg and a few slash cuts on my arm and scratches here and there.

I gripped the handle of my sword tighter...

I can't stay here much longer, I'm growing weak. I've been out of my lair far too long...

I decided to finish this, so I took my stance, he must have thought of the same thing so he took his stance as well.

Max raised his sword in challenge pose beside the guardian while everyone was tired from battling.

But since I was too caught up in the match, I hardly even notice Angela behind me as she silently placed the book she was reading somewhere in the middle. All I was focused on was getting to my lair, and using the gem to its true power.

As I ran to the Guardian, I suddenly noticed the book and since I was too fast, I barely managed to jump over it, but because of that, I had lost my footing.

No I did not slip, I lost my count.

My technique required a count of steps and timing, but since I lost that---

I dodged to the left as the sword of The Guardian almost pierced me and Silencer, Max's prized pitch black sword, almost beheaded me...

But then, I realized that... The strap of my bag was too loose and since the gem was there, it was pierced by the Guardian's sword.

And with that our eyes widened as the sword's sharp edge collided with the Gem, resulting the changing of the colour of the gem from a sparkling and dazzling jade-green to a white and blinding light...

And with that the gem cracked.
