Calum:
Knowing Calum, he isn't gonna make food himself. But you were more than glad to be his chef for life.
You always woke up earlier than him, you don't know why.
As you slowly untangled yourself from Calum, you got up and walked as quietly as possible downstairs. You looked in the cupboards. Calum went perform a show last night, so you don't like making him wake up after a tiring day and eat cereal.
You looked at the sauce bottles you had. Every week, you made pancake batter and put it in like a ketchup bottle but it's labeled as Pancake In Liquid.
You still had a lot left and you decided to take opportunity from this situation and use it now.
You wanted to try something crazy and used pancake batter to make waffles because, honestly, they weren't really that different. Plus, Calum prefers waffles than pancakes, so...
You put the batter overflowing and closed the lid shut. You pulled put your phone and decide to tweet the situation and follow back some people.
The waffe maker beeped and you instantly went to get it. You grabbed it with a pair of tongs to put it on the plate and then used a pair of scissors to cut it down the middle. You walked to the freezer attached to the top of your normal fridge and pulled out a tub of cookies and cream ice cream and put it on the counter. You scooped a big spoon of it and placed on the middle of the waffles. You decorated it with honey, strawberries and blueberries. Knowing how Calum gets pissed off when the leaves come into his mouth, you peeled them off, like a good girlfriend.
You brought the plate to the island of the kitchen and then took a glass out and poured orange juice in it. Placing them on a tray, you grabbed the needed utensils and brought the tray upstairs. He was laying in bed, rubbing his eyes. He just woke up.
He turned his head at the aroma of delicious food. "What? What's that? Where did you get that?" He asked, the raspy voice killing you inside.
"Waffles with ice cream and fruits. I made it for you. Also a glass of orange juice." I said, smiling proudly.
"This is one of the reasons why I love you, you little ass."
You feigned hurt. "Why such name calling, dearest friend?"
"I don't like being a burden.." He admitted.
"Oh, you. It makes me happy seeing you smile. I like being the reason of your happiness sometimes, you know?"
He smiled and leaned in to kiss you but you pushed him away and leaned your head far back.
"What?" He asks, confused to your rejection.
"Morning breath. Eat breakfast, brush your teeth, then come and kiss me."
It was his turn to feign hurt. "But... B-but I love you!"
"Quit being dramatic, Hood. Eat the breakfast already, the ice cream's melting." You pushed the plate to him. You have a special tray that has legs that are stable, so you can stand the tray on the bed and eat.
You helped him up to lean against the headboard and he helped you open up the tray. You thanked him softly before sitting opposite him.
"Need me to feed you?" You asked.
He smiled gratefully but shook his head. "No, thanks. You've done enough, haven't you?"
You laughed. "Nothing is enough when it comes to you, Cal." You admitted too much. This has been bugging you a lot lately.
