Chapter 2: Friends by chance, sisters by choice

This chapter will be Iris POV

I was so scared for today since what had happened yesterday on the bus. Rebecca didn't talk to me the rest of the school day and I was so scared she thought I was some sort of freak. I had been waiting for the bus for so long. I thought I had missed it and then it started to pull up beside my driveway opening the doors so I could come in. I saw Rebecca sitting in the usual spot we always sat in together and a huge relief went off my shoulders. I had went to go sit down but then I realized that someone else was sitting with her.... Elizabeth. My worst enemy in the whole school, and Rebecca knew that. I was so mad and upset. I didn't think Rebecca would've been so low as to let Elizabeth sit beside her. Maybe they had been friends this whole time and Rebecca told her everything about me. What if she told her about my cuts. I started to freak out so I had sat all the way in the back and decided to text Rebecca and see if she had told Elizabeth and why she let Elizabeth sit beside her
I sent her a message saying...
"Hey why did you let Elizabeth sit beside you? Are you mad at me or upset?"
She replied back saying
"I can't be friends with you anymore you hoe cutter sorry"
I was in shock and disbelief then I heard some commotion in the front of the bus. I then realized it was Rebecca, yelling? IT WAS HER YELLING!! It sounded like she said "Elizabeth give me back my phone NOW!" Then I heard footsteps headed towards the back of the bus and I realized it was Rebecca crying. I felt so horrible, she asked "Can I please sit beside you, I can explain everything I'm so sorry." I nodded my head and let her sit beside me and she explained herself. She said she was saving the seat for me and then Elizabeth came walking up to her all happy and cheerful and asked "Can I please sit right here?" and She had said "I'm saving this seat for my friend" and then Elizabeth said "you can't save seats on the bus, Mrs bus lady this girl is trying to save seats and I want to sit here" then the bus lady was like "Let her sit there" and she had just said "Yes mam." So she was forced to sit beside that demon and then she explained that her phone had went off and Elizabeth was like
"Who is that your booooyyfriendd." And she just snatched the phone from Rebecca's hand and she said she saw her typing but she wouldn't give her, her phone so she had yelled at her to give her, her phone. That's when she had read the message and saw what she had sent to me and she had started to cry because 1st she had no idea how Elizabeth knew about the cuts because she swore on all the pizza in the world, which made me laugh and she absolutely loves pizza so I knew she wasn't lying, that she never told her and 2nd because of the rude thing Elizabeth had said to me. I was so happy that she had stuck up for me and didn't think I was a freak. I just gave her a huge hug and I could tell she was startled that I gave her a hug but she eventually gave one in return and all I said was "Thank you." So we just started talking about random crap and I had realize that day that Rebecca was my no longer my friend but my sister by heart and by chance.
