NUMBER 10

When you think of the later Kirby games, you may think of games like Squeak Squad, Super Star, and Amazing Mirror.  Well, the Number 10 spot is actually one of those later games.  It may be a bit surprising, but I've chosen Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land as the first game on this list.  This was the first Kirby game for the Game Boy Advance, followed by Amazing Mirror.  Now, if it was the precedent of an amazing Kirby game, why at only Number 10?  Well, Nightmare in Dream Land doesn't offer as much as the other games.  In terms on gameplay, it's pretty basic, having the simple level-to-level style with different worlds and bosses.  Yes, some other Kirby games are like that, too, but Nightmare in Dream Land doesn't even have a real story!  However, it does earn points for having classic bosses like Paint Roller and Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright, as well as having a few fun mini games to play. In Story Mode, you can play these games for a chance at up to three 1-Ups! Nightmare in Dream Land's Copy Ability range is decent, offering a few abilities that are fairly unique, pretty much only available in GBA titles.  These Abilities include ones like Backdrop, but Burning doesn't count due to its later fusion with Fire.  Overall, Nightmare in Dream Land is a great game for any beginners or noobs to the Kirby series, and a fun game overall.  However, it just wasn't better than the other nine entries.
