*Aunt Jane’s POV
Ali will be arriving soon at about 7pm so I still had some time to clean up the house since it was only 4pm.
I phoned the pool cleaner and the gardener then I cleaned inside the house. After so, I went out grocery shopping and made it home by 6:30pm. I hurriedly fixed the groceries then hopped back to the car and drove to the airport.
After a lot of searching, I saw her. In blue worn out jeans, a simple shirt and a pair of vans. Even in such simple clothes she still stood out of the crowd with her curly blonde hair tied in a clean ponytail. I ran to her and soon, she spotted me and we hugged. I missed her so much. It has been quite a while now from when I left LA.
“Oh Ali, I missed you so much!! Look how pretty you are now!!” I twirled her around, seeing her very familiar pretty smile once again. Just hearing her laugh brings back a lot of memories from when she was just a small little kid going through her first years of puberty. God, I miss those pretty blue orbs of hers.
“I missed you too, Aunt Jane!! You don’t know how it is back home without you!! Mom’s driving me nuts!!!” she exclaimed.
“I know… Well, you gotta love your mom! She can be VERY annoying sometimes” I winked at her.
“Oh and I DO miss your cookies!! You don’t know how bad airplane food is!!” she informed me.
“Trust me, I know… Why don’t we leave and get some food before going home?”
“Sounds great!! I’m sooooo thrilled to be here!!! Oh, thank you sooo much, Aunt Jane!!” she exclaimed, excitement flooding out of her.
“Don’t thank me yet, sweetie..” I led her to my car and we drove off.
