it was the day of the wedding and everyone that both Luke and Calum knew were there in support of their marriage. it was a marvelous and gorgeous day out in this huge rose garden that the two decided to have their wedding in. they didn't want to have this huge extravagant wedding so there were less than a hundred people who attended but they were those who mattered and who loved them like no other. Liz and Joy the two soon to be husband's family were making sure everything was perfect and in order while the tow got ready in separate rooms.
'Melanie where is my vail i can't find it anywhere?' Luke asked as he and her searched the room for the long laced and see through vail that matched his tight lace backless wedding dress.
'i'm looking, i'm looking.' Melanie said as she looked everywhere until she found it under a chair.
'thank you so much, you're a life saver.' Luke said as she took the vail.
'i know.' she said with a smug smile as she helped put it on his head completing the outfit.
'well, how do i look?' Luke asked as the two looked in the full length mirror at each other. it showed a blushing guy in a full skin tight dress that flowed at the bottom and a bridesmaid in a long thin strapped turquoise dress and the two couldn't help but smile.
'absolutely breathtaking.' Melanie said with a huge smile.
'god i am so nervous i think i'll throw up, this is vera wang so i rather not.' Luke joked as he played with the vail as he looked at Melanie.
'i know you are but there's nothing to be nervous about, you're about to marry a man who head over heels for you and would do anything for you.' she reassured grabbing onto his shoulders.
'i know and i would do the same.' Luke said as he hugged Melanie.
---
'fucking hell.' Calum cursed as he stood in front of th mirror trying to tie his tie for almost a half hour.
'what is the matter?' Ashton asked coming up to Calum.
'i can't fucking tie this damn thing.' Calum said to his best man frustrated throwing his hands down in defeat.
'here let me help you.' Ashton laughed as he turned Calum around and started tying his tie.
'what would i do with out you?' Calum asked laughing.
'not wearing a tie.' Ash joked back. 'so are you nervous, how are you feeling?' he asked as he continued to tie his tie.
'god i am so damn nervous, what if he doesn't say i do?' Calum asked obviously overreacting and stressing out for no reason.
'Calum, relax. Luke loves you and he plus you guys have been together for so long you're practically married, and done.' Ashton reassured as he finished the tie.
'you're right, i'm just freaking out for nothing.' Calum said as he buttoned his suit jacket and gave his best man a hug.
---
it was finally the time for the two to wed and everyone took their seats, the bridesmaids to the left, the groomsmen to the right with the anxious husband waiting with his hands together by the priest in the middle.
Luke was in the back out of sight fixing his vail and bouquet of flowers. little Aiden was the flower boy and Ian was the ring bearer and both walked slowly down the aisle, Aiden spreading the flowers down the aisle. the crowd consisted of awes and huge smiles as the two walked down. Liz stood beside Luke and smiled fondly at her beautiful son and couldn't believe this was happening.
'so honey, are you ready?' she asked.
'so ready.' he said with the biggest smile.
'i just want to say that i love you and i am so proud of everything that you have done and i just know that if your dad was here today he would be too.' LIz said as she started to cry as she hugged Luke and almost made him cry but he couldn't ruin his makeup.
'i love you too mom, thanks for everything.' Luke said as huge hugged his mother back and they fixed themselves quickly and headed to the aisle as the music started to play.
as soon as Luke was in full sight of everyone Calum's breath hitched and his smile grew wider if that was even possible and he knew, even more than before, that this was the man that he loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with. they made it down the aisle and after Liz gave Luke a quick kiss and he joined Calum in the middle and they turned to each other smiling as they did.
the priest started to talk and say all the things that he was supposed to and after he asked everyone if anyone objected it was time for vows and their hearts raced as Calum spoke first.
'Luke i love you more than you can even begin to imagine, i have for as long as we have been together. i promise to love you even more, take care of you, bring you up when you're down, and never ever stop. you were my first and you will be my last love and i couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.' Calum finished and Luke blushed and smiled wide as he began.
'Calum, i can imagine how much you love me because i love you just as much if not more. i promise to love you forever and take care of you when you're sick or feeling down for whatever reason. i am so glad that i am able to spend the rest of my life with not only my partner and lover but someone who is my best friend.' Luke finished as a single tear rolled down his face and Calum wiped it off with his thumb causing everyone to awe in sync.
after the vows and i dos the two kissed for the first time as husbands and that's all they needed.
-Hey, well that's it and i am sad and i wish it wasn't but alas it must come to and end i just want to thank everyone who read this and voted and commented cause it really does mean a lot and i love each and everyone of you
Love you
