Chapter 6: Clearing the Air

Audrianna's P.O.V

"OMG, Jailene, I can't go into another store with you! It's already after eight, what are you tryna do, buy the whole mall?"

"Just one last stop in MAC and then we out, I promise. My damn feet are killing me anyways," she said, stopping to adjust the strap on her heels.

When we finally made it to the car, I was giving praise to the little eight-pound baby Jesus.

"Remind me to eat before I come shopping with you again, " I laughed.

"Your fat ass always hungry. A'ight, you ain't gonna be able to get that baby weight off if you keep eating like you are!"

"Chick, you are so fired! You just as greedy as I am, so don't dog me!"

"Where am I dropping you off at?"

"Take me to the crib, D wants me to come over tonight, but I have to face the music with Nick."

"So you still going to Texas?"

"Girl yes, I miss my parents! They have been out there for almost a year and I only went to visit twice. Living with Nick is good and all, but he needs to slow down. Every time you see him, he with a different chick."

"Speaking of Nick, I ran into him about a week ago. The nigga had two bitches in the middle of the road about to throw hands. He talking about, 'JAI ION KNOW WHAT THEY GOT GOIN, ION LOVE THESE HOES!' He said it loud for the whole block to hear! Everybody out there was laughing. I swear these hoes ain't got no home training!"

"Yep, that sounds just like his loud mouth ass! I can't deal with him and his drama," I said shaking my head.

"When are you planning on leaving? I'm thinking about going with you."

"End of summer, but I thought you were dead set on Florida State."

"I am, but I need to get away. These niggas I'm dealing with got me confused about life, plus I heard everything's big in Texas," she said snapping her fingers.

"Niggas? As in more than one? I'm lost!"

Jai reached over and turned the radio completely off, so I knew this was serious.

"Okay, Audrey, I'm about to lace you up on some G shit real quick and don't judge me either!"

"Be for real Jai, this me you are talking to, I feel rather offended," I told her while dramatically clutching my chest.

"You so damn dramatic! You need to stop that shit," she said, rolling her eyes. "But I been fucking with Ant for about three months now."

"Ant? As in my brother?"

"No lie! I know its wrong, but I can't leave him alone. The shit just happened one day! I was getting out the shower at D's house and forgot to lock the bathroom door. Ant walked in on me and stood there watching me as I'm yelling at the top of my lungs for him to get the fuck out. Instead, he comes all the way inside, locks the door, and pins me to the wall. I didn't put up a fight or nothing! It went down in the shower girl! That was the best dick I ever had and now I'm addicted! To be honest, I don't regret this shit one bit!"

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. "Who am I to judge, you can't help who you love right? This is a messy ass situation though, what you gonna do?" I questioned.

"This situation we got going on is getting out of hand. That nigga call and I come with no questions asked. I just feel like I'm putting too much into this and on top of that, my feelings for Danny have fell off. He just ain't doing it for me no more."
