Audrianna's P.O.V

Rushing out of my fourth period class, I ran right into what felt like a brick wall. I'd always had a one track mind and when I was focused it was only on the task at hand. What made me think before I spoke was the smell of Guilty by Gucci cologne! That shit got me every time!

"Damn Audrey, slow down, where you off to in such a rush?" I could tell his voice from anywhere. "Dean, what are you doing here?" I asked excitedly. Dean is Jai's older brother. The man is fine! He's 6'5, has smooth light brown skin, tattoos everywhere, a nice Caesar fade that's always on point, a body to die for, and the most mesmerizing green eyes! I could mind fuck him all day, any day! I've had a crush on him since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I never attempted to cross that line because of his relationship with my brothers. They ran the coast of Harlem. They called themselves, Huf Boyz. Everybody in the crew was paid in full.

"I had to drop something off to Mr. West," Dean responded

"Damn, where were you before I had his class? He was feisty this morning. I could tell he didn't have his wake and bake session."

"Is that right?" he chuckled.

"Well, it was really good seeing you again!" I had to cut the conversation short because honestly, I was at a loss for words. For the first time, I was actually paying attention to the way he was looking at me. It made me a little uncomfortable, so I asked, "Damn, Dean, what's that look you giving me?"

He grabbed my hand and I knew he felt the connection, too. I tried to pull away, but he wouldn't let go. His grip was getting tighter and he was licking his lips. What did he do that for? He tugged me on my hair a little.

"It's nothing, young one. I just see you all grown up and it seems like you grew in all the right places!" he said. All I could do was blush while he undressed me with his eyes.

"Aye, you still fuck with Messiah?"

"Yeah, why?" I questioned him. I was curious as hell to know why he was asking if I was still with Messiah.

"Audrey, this isn't on any hating type shit, but you too good for him."

It sounded like hate to me, but I rolled with it.

"That's a good one D, so original!" I replied.

"Audrey, you are always taking shit as a joke! I'm serious! You should know your worth. That ain't the nigga for you!"

This nigga was seriously bugging! It way too early in the day for this mess!

"Come ride with me, I'll show you some things I bet you didn't even know."

"Is it really that serious, D? I was already late for school this morning!"

"Suit yourself, you can keep flying blind, if you want to."

My gut was telling me this was gonna be some straight bullshit, but reluctantly, I finally decided to go. I shot Jai a quick text asking her to grab the rest of my notes for the day.

"I'm not feeling too hot anyway," I mumbled to myself.

I smirked because he opened the door and I was about to walk in.

"Mar, you may be the man and all, but when are you planning on leaving these streets? You got so much potential and you just gonna blow it trying to hustle the wrong way? I really thought you would be the one to make something out of yourself. You can't have one foot in and one foot out."

"Audrey, what you mean? I'm a man of many talents. I managed to get a basketball scholarship, maintain my grades, and I hustle. I make a way out of no way; I got my priorities in order. I do it all, young one, no need for you to worry."
