The Twist

"Leave me alone!" I yelled. "Shut up, Faggot!" The words hurt. "Please, Stop." I whispered. It wasn't long until the physical abuse started. They punched and kicked me. I felt my crimson blood flow down my head. How did they know? Who told them? Why won't they stop? "STOP!!!" I yelled. They were pushed away. I could feel the power I side of myself grow. Is this the power that a vampire wields. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" They all became their monster forms and beat me.

"Aiden!" My mother yelled as she ran to me. Tears filled my eyes as she gave me a hug. "What happened?" She asked. I couldn't say anything without bursting into tears. "Th-they called me a F..." I couldn't even say it. "They called m-me a F-faggot and then beat me." I said while crying even more. "Ai, don't cry." She said.

For the rest of the night I stayed in my room. I heard a knock on the door, "Sir, may I come in?" It was Sugano. "Yeah." He entered the room and walked over to me. "I heard what happened; Are you okay?" He asked. "No, I hate going to school! I don't deserve life!" I yelled while crying again. Then I felt a warm body against mine.

I quickly awoke after that. The memories became more frequent ever since Sugano returned. After that year back in middle school, I have moved schools, gotten tougher, hidden my past, and sexuality. I will never go back to that. I was so weak and I cried to much. Am I still in love with Sugano?

The next morning, I went and checked on Isabelle. Ever since that day, She has learned how to control her thirst, she has gotten her own power guards, and has been very happy. I ran into Sugano on the way. "Hey, Suggi." I said with a big smile. He laughed and said, "Hey, Ai." We walked together and talked for a while. "You know the blood moon is coming up." He said. "I know." I said. I hate the blood moon. All power guards stop working on the night of the blood moon. Vampires go crazy and I end up killing hundreds of them. Most vampires lose control on that night so it's my job to stop them.

"Suggi, can I talk to you?" I asked. "Of course Ma... I mean Aiden. What's up?" He asks.

"The memories of middle school are coming back."

"Is that happening at your new school? I will beat the shit out of them."

"No, it's not. Nobody knows except you, my siblings, and I."

"Then what about them?"

I took a deep breath, then I said, "I am so madly in love with you."
