A New Chapter ~ Heath

Heath looked out the window of their room, looking at the ocean view. He turned his head around and saw Lily sleeping, her slender arms under her head and her body covered by blankets. He smiled to himself and then turned back to the window. After a while, he headed downstairs to make some breakfast. After a while he heard footsteps on the stairs and he turned his head to see Lily walking down them with a dressing gown on. "Morning" Heath said "morning, that smells yummy" Lily said and leans her face towards the pan. To stop her from burning her face, Heath wrapped his arms around her shoulders and sat her in a chair "wait here, it's nearly done" he said and she nodded.

After breakfast was cooked, he set them on two plates, making sure there was enough for Liam. He put it in the microwave for it to stay hot and brought the plate and set it in front of Lily "thanks" she said and started eating. Heath made them both coffee when Liam walked in "breakfast is in the microwave" Heath said "thanks" Liam said and went to grab it. Heath sat next to his wife and Liam sat with them and after breakfast Lily smiled "how about a family day in the park?" She asked "what a lovely idea" Heath said "not interested sorry" Liam said "it would give you a chance to catch up with your brother" Lily said and Liam sighed "fine" he said.

After a while they were all ready for the day out, Lily carried a basket of food and drinks and we all dressed for the beach. Lily wore the same bikini she did when we went to the beach and Liam wore board shorts and sandals. Heath smiled and they drove towards the beach, the towels were set out and an umbrella was placed so that there was heaps of shade and they set about having some food and talking afterwards. Heath and Liam talked about the time when they had been separated and Lily smiled, before texting her friend for a while. Once the food settled, they set on towards the ocean water and played around.

Maybe it was a fun day after all.
