My Marriage Proposal ~ Heath

Heath sat on his chair in his office. He stared at the computer screen after Brooke was dragged off and he knew that his heart was shattered. He really loved Lily, and she was the one for him, but after she saw the scene Brooke caused, he knew he would never love again. Since the breakup, he wanted to erase her because he knew she would never want him again.

A knock on his door shifted him from his mind and he straightened up "come in" he said in a clear voice, hoping his voice wouldn't betray him. The door opened and a familiar face poked between the door and the door frame. It was Lily and he looked at her as she walked in and closed the door, locking it. "It's better if we aren't disturbed, we need to sort things out, and I need you to be honest with me" Lily said and Heath nodded.

Lily sat down opposite him and she clasped her hands on her lap. "Yeah of course" he said "who is she?" Lily asked "a girl I met a couple of years back in a nightclub, she was a prostitute and when we got serious, she left and lived with me while we dated. My feelings then changed for her and I told her it was over between us, she hasn't got the message through to her head yet" he said "let me see your phone" Lily said and Heath turned his phone to her.

Lily scrolled through his messages from Brooke, there were no replies from him to her and Lily locked his phone, she handed his phone back and then took a deep breath "no more lying about your life, you need to tell me everything about yourself so that I can understand you more" Lily said and Heath nods "I'm so sorry Lily, I truly am" he said. Lily got up "it's good the door is locked, I felt very upset by the scene I saw with you and Brooke, but it hurts me not being with you" she said "that's the same as me, I had her taken out and then I couldn't bare to be without you" he said.

Lily walked to his chair and sat on his lap "I've been honest with you about my life, and I'm being honest when I say this now, I've always been in love with you, you make me feel like I can be free and everywhere you take me, I want to stay there with you forever" she said. "Can I ask you something Lily?" he asked and she nodded "what is it?" she asked "what would you say if I asked you to marry me?" he asked and Lily's face went into shock "to soon?" he asked and she shook her head "no, it's the right time" she said and nods "of course I'll marry you" she said and kissed him.

Heath kissed her back, his arms around her waist and crushing her body against his. She smiled as she kissed him and he smiled back. After pulling a part, Heath held a box towards her and she teared up. She opened the box and there sat a gold band with a large blue diamond in the middle. She laughed and hiccuped as he slid the ring onto her finger and she touched it smiling "I love it" she said and he kissed her forehead.

Maybe after they are married, maybe they can move in together?
