Party & A New Life ~ Lily

I had the time of my life, after the wedding ceremony, we all went over to Heath's house which he said is also mine now for the after party. We danced all night and everyone had fun. I stood up and smiled as I tossed my rose bouquet into the crowd of girls and one of them was able to catch it. After the night of partying, Heath and I were travelling to Japan for our honeymoon, and since I wanted to go there when I was a child, I was happy to be going there now. I was happy that I found the right man to be with, and when there comes a time, things may go well enough that we might be able to start our own family when the time is right.

Heath took my hand and kissed it "I'm so happy your my wife" he said and I smiled "there would be nothing in the world that wouldn't make me love you, your the only one that can make me feel everything" I said and he smiled "I love you" he said and I smiled "I love you to" I said and laughed. Everything went through a whirlwind and on our honeymoon, we even tried so that when we came back, I would be pregnant. But as the honeymoon came to an end, I looked at the pregnancy test that I was holding and sighed as it said not pregnant. I threw the test in the bin and sat down. Heath sat beside me and pulled me into his arms "we can keep trying" he said "I can't keep going, I don't think I would ever get pregnant" I said.

He kissed me on the head and held me tightly "when we get back, we can go to the hospital and see if we can find out why you aren't getting pregnant" Heath said "I guess we can" I said and he smiled. After our last day in Japan, we finally set off back home, glad to be back in our own bed and to live the rest of our lives as a married couple. What could go wrong?

A couple of weeks after we got home, I sat on the bed in a hospital room waiting for the nurse to come in. I held Heath's hand and I was starting to get impatient when the nurse came in "Lily?" she asked and my head snapped up "yes" I said "I have your results back, they are negative on you being pregnant and the reason why you can't have a baby or get pregnant is because of when you came here with a gun shot wound" she said. "Oh" I said and looked out the window "is there anyway she can get pregnant, a loophole?" Heath asked "no, unless you ask someone from your family if they can bare a child for you" the nurse said.

After hearing the news, I seemed to have withdrawn, feeling like there was no point in my life anymore. I didn't turn into work and everything went downhill for me, I never replied to my father and I spaced out when Heath tried talking to me. I was dead and lifeless..
