Chapter 16

Michael's pov

(Two weeks later)

I just got done uploading a gaming video to YouTube when Maegan called me into the living room.

"Yes kitten" I asked, walking in.

"Ok, first of all, you're kitten, and second, I'm cold. Come cuddle with me" she whined, making grabby arms.

I laughed and sat down next to her.

We moved so that we were laying down and she was comfortable.

"How was your day, princess" I asked, rubbing her arm.

"It was ok. The bar finally let me go on maternity leave" she sighed.

"Was there anything interesting today"I asked, kissing her cheek.

"These two drunk girls started fighting and they broke a few things" she said, laughing a bit.

"That sounds like fun."

"Eh."

"So how was yours" she asked, shifting a bit so she could look at me.

"It was good. I just uploaded another video" I said, running my fingers through her hair.

"That's cool" she said, yawning and going back to watching the tv.

"Babe, why don't you go upstairs and take a nap" I suggested, seeing how tired she was.

I needed to get her to go upstairs for a bit.

"I would, but I need to clean the house" she said, sitting up.

"No. You go take a nap and I'll clean the house" I said, sitting up next to her.

Today was her birthday but I think she forgot.

I was planning on having the guys come over and help me surprise her and also throw her a baby shower.

"Are you sure" she asked, standing up.

"Yes. You go upstairs and take a nap while I clean the house" I said, standing up next to her.

"Alright" she said, giving me a kiss.

"Love you" I said, as she walked up the stairs.

"Love you too."

A few minutes after she was upstairs, I texted the guys (with her phone) and started cleaning the house.

I was cleaning when I heard a knock at the door.

I had told the guys that we would have to be quite because Maegan was asleep.

I put the broom back in the pantry and walked to the door.

I opened the door to see Luke, Rebecca, Ash and Cal.

"Hey. Come in but be quite" I whispered as they walked in.

It took me a while to notice that Annie wasn't here.

"Hey, where's Annie" I asked as they set the party stuff down.

"Shes getting the cake" Calum answered.

"Oh."

"Alright, what do we need to do" Luke asked, turning to face me.

"Ok," I said, putting my hands together, "you and Rebecca are in charge of the decorations."

"You two," I said, turning to face Cal and Ash, " you guys are in charge of making lunch."

They all nodded their heads.

"While you guys are doing that, I'm gonna finish cleaning up a bit and I'm gonna wrap her presents" I said, grabbing the broom again.

"Wait, where do you want us to put these presents" Rebecca asked, holing up her gift.

I thought for a second before getting an answer.

"Clear off the dining table and make it the present table."

They all nodded and did as I told 'em to do.

As they did what they needed to do, I swept, folded clothes, did the dishes, and vacuumed, trying to be as quite as possible.

"Alright," I said to myself.

"Time to wrap the presents" I said, grabbing them, the wrapping paper, scissors, and tape.

I set the stuff down in the living room and sat on the floor.

Just before I could do anything, and bust through the door.

"I'm here" she said panting.

Everyone shushed her.

"Oh, sorry" she said, closing the door behind her.

"Uh, Annie, that a big cake" Calum said with a shocked expression.

It was a four tiered cake.

The smallest tier was about four inches tall and five inches across.

"Why did you get such a big cake" I asked, standing up to help her.

"It was the only one in her favorite flavor" she said as I took the cake from her.

I set it down as she took off her coat and hung it up.

"Where do I put these" she asked, holing up presents.

We all pointed to the table and she set them down.

"Alright, what can I help with" she asked, putting her hands together.

"You can help me finish wrapping these presents" I said, walking into the living room.

"Ok" she said, following me.

Once everything was set up, I had the guys hide as I went to wake Maegan up.

I ran up the stairs, quickly stopping in the bathroom to fix my messy blonde hair.

I quietly opened the door and walked over to the bed.

"Maegan, babe, wake up" I said, shaking her shoulder a bit.

"Mmm, what" she groaned.

"I have a surprise for you" I said, as she sat up.

"Mmmk" she said, standing up and stretching.

We walked into the hallway and stopped.

"I'm gonna cover your eyes, just step when I tell you to" I said, stepping onto the stairs.

I covered her eyes with my hands as she placed one hand on the railing and the other on her stomach.

Once we got to the bottom, I uncovered her eyes and the guys jumped out, screaming 'surprise.'

As soon as they did, Maegan walked upstairs.

"Where are you going" I asked.

"To put pants on a brush my teeth" she said, walking up the stairs.

I just turned to the guys and shrugged.

Damn, my chapters just keep getting crappier and crappier.
