Chapter 29

Michael's pov

Ashton gasped.

"What? What is it?" I asked, looking at him concerned.

"Th-there's another one," he said, looking at me with wide eyes.

I looked back at him with wide eyes.

"T-there's t-two babies?"

Ashton slowly nodded his head.

"God dammit!!" Maegan yelled, throwing her head back, "I gotta fucking push again!!"

I chuckled lightly.

"Yeah," Ashton said, "but you have a little time to rest before you need to push again."

Maegan nodded her head and laid back.

"Oh, fuck!!"

"Just a few more pushes. We've just passed the shoulders."

Maegan pushed and squeezed my hand tightly.

"You're doing great babe," I said, leaning down and kissing her forehead.

"Almost there, almost there," Ashton said, "Two more big pushes."

Luke and Rebecca continued to hold Maegan's legs while Annie and I held her hands.

"Last push, ready? 1,2,3, push!"

Maegan pushed hard and yelled slightly. A loud cry filled the room again. I smiled and looked up again.

"It's a girl," Ashton said, smiling.

I looked over at Maegan to see her smiling widely. I leaned down and kissed her.

"Ok," Maegan said, panting, "please tell me there's not another one."

Ashton laughed slightly.

"There's isn't."

Maegan sighed with relief.

"Here you go Michael," Ashton said, handing me the scissors again.

He placed the clip and I cut the cord. He handed the baby off to Calum so she could be cleaned and taken care of.

"She's so tiny," Maegan said, smiling down at our little girl.

I smiled down at baby in my arms and the baby in Maegan's. They were finally here.

"We still need to pick names for them," I said, looking up at her.

Maegan looked up at me and smiled.

"I was hoping we could name our little girl after my mom, Jessica," she said, smiling as her eyes filled with tears.

"Jessica," I said, testing the name out.

"Jessica. That's perfect," I said, smiling at her and giving her a kiss.

"And for him?" Maegan asked, gesturing towards the baby in my arms.

"Daniel," I said immediately.

"Why Daniel?"

"No reason," I said, smiling.

"Ok, Jessica and Daniel Clifford it's is," she said, smiling at me.

I smiled back, leaning down and kissing her. Today was the third best day of my life. The first was meeting her and the second was marrying her.

I looked down at the two babies and smiled.

This was really short but oh well.

Anyways, there's like, two chapters left and then this book is over.

I was planing on doing a third book but nobody liked the sequel so I don't think I will be.
