Chapter 27

(Four weeks later)
(36 weeks along)

Maegan's pov

I smiled as Michael mumbled in his sleep. He mumbled cute little things, and when he did, his ears would twitch.

I watched him as he rolled over and mumbled a bit more. I giggled slightly when he scrunched up his nose, causing him to wake up.

I smiled widely as his eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Moring," he said, yawning cutly and stretching.

I smiled as he kissed me.

"Good morning," I said, wrapping my arms around him and scooting closer.

Michael smiled and pulled me closer, well, as best as he could.

I was now thirty six weeks along, so close to the end of the pregnancy.

It's harder to cuddle with Mikey now.

I sat up and stretched, yawning as I did. 

"So what do you wanna do today?" I asked, looking at Michael as he sat up.

"We should have the guys come over and we should just hang out and watch a movie or something. Nothing too special," he said, getting out of bed.

"Ok," I said, smiling at him.

I swear, it's like every time I see him in the morning, it's like I fall in love with him again.

I slowly got out of bed and waddled to the bathroom to take a shower with Michael.

Michael texted the guys as I made lunch.

"Only Calum, Ashton, and Annie can come. Luke and Rebecca have a doctor's appointment," Michael said, walking into the kitchen.

"Ok," I said, "Joey is also going to be here, right?"

Michael nodded and helped me get the food ready.

"Oh and they said they'd be here in twenty minutes."

I just smiled a nodded.

I don't know why, but I felt like today was going to be a good day.

Michael and I slowly danced in the kitchen as we waited for the guys to get here.

I smiled as Michael spun me slightly. Michael grabbed my hand and pulled me close, kissing me.

I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his hands on my stomach.

He giggled slightly as the baby kicked.

We continued to slowly danced before we heard the doorbell rings.

Michael let the guys in as I set the table and got the drinks out.

"Antie Maegan!!" Joey screamed as he ran up to me, wrapping his tiny arms around my legs.

I laughed and ruffled his hair, not being able to bend down.

"Hey little man. How are you," I asked, smiling down at him.

"G-great," he said, smiling up at me.

I smiled and pet behind his little puppy ear, making his tail wag a little.

Ashton and Calum walked in, followed by Annie.

"Hey guys," I said, giving each of them a hug.

We all said hello and sat down and began to eat.

"Alright Joey, what movie do you wanna watch?" I asked, opening the movie cabinet.

"Th-this one!" he said, pointing to 'The Little Mermaid'.

I smiled and placed the movie into the DVD player and pressed play. I stood up and walked over to the couch and sat down next to Michael and Annie.

We all smiled at Joey as he was watched the movie and hummed along to the music.

About three fourths into the movie, I started to feel a pain in my stomach. I shook it off but a few minutes later, I felt the pain again but a little worse.

Michael noticed and looked at me concerned.

"Are you ok?" he asked, getting the attention of the others.

"Yeah I'm fine," I said, wincing a little.

"I'll just go take some medicine," I said, standing up and waddling to the bathroom.

As I walked to the bathroom, the pain slowly increased. Once I got there, I quickly took the medicine.

I walked out and smiled at the guys as they looked at me concerned. About halfway to the couch, a sharp wave of pain ran through me and a warm liquid ran down my leg.

"Shit."
