Your POV:

This is it. I made it. I made it to South Korea. It was a long flight, a boring flight, but I made it.

What's the time? I wonder to myself as I sit in the back of the taxi that's headed towards S.M. Entertainment studio where I'm to meet my possibly new boss. The job wasn't guaranteed by I didn't care; I decided to move here whether I got the job or not.

Now that I think about it, I don't have anywhere to live yet, I think to myself as the taxi pulls over, reaching my destination. I pay the taxi driver before getting out and grabbing my suitcase; I'm expecting the rest of my stuff to come tomorrow in the mail.

As soon as I close the rear door (boot of the car), the taxi speeds off, smoke entering my lungs from the exhaust pipe making me cough. I then cover my mouth with the black scarf I'm wearing that matches my black ankle boots, denim skinny jeans and black leather jacket. I start walking up to the building, the heels of my boots making that cliqued 'clip clop' sound with every step I take, dragging my F/C suitcase behind me. I climb the couple of steps before entering the building, an instant warmth wrapping around my chilled body from the pre-winter weather outside. I unwrap my scarf and take my jacket off, placing it on top of my suitcase. I take a couple steps forward, staring at the building in awe, such a clean, tidy, fancy studio.

I'm about to head to the front desk when I feel I vibration in my back pocket; my phone. I take it out of my pocket to see my screen lit up, a message from Lee Seunghean, the head manager of this boy band I might be working for.

"Tell the front desk you're F/N L/N and show them some ID. I've already told them I'm expecting you and to send you straight to my office," the text says. I put my phone back in my back pocket and head to the front desk where a lovely lady in a navy blue and white uniform is.

"Good evening, how may I help you?" she asks me, finishing it off with a smile.

Thank god I speak and understand Korean, I say internally as I pull out my pass port from the front pocket of my suitcase, smiling at her as I stand up right again.

"Hi, I'm F/N L/N," I say showing her my pass port. She smiles at me, realising who I am before making a quick call to someone. She then hangs up and looks at me.

"Okay, F/N, if you'll come with me I'll take you straight to Lee," she tells me as another pretty looking lady wearing the same uniform walks behind the front desk. The first lady then begins to walk to the elevator, beckoning me to follow. I follow her into the elevator, the doors closing behind me. The elevator ride is silent but short as the doors open on the third floor with a classic ding.

I watch the front desk lady to see if she walks out but doesn't as a young man walks into the elevator, pressing one of the buttons. I try hard not to stare at the young man - well more like boy - who's wearing a cap and eye-liner (Baekhyun).

That's a masculine look, I think to myself, sarcastically. The boy then turns around and notices the front desk lady and winks at her. Right at that moment, the elevator doors open again and he walks out. I stifle a laugh as 'Mr Masculine' disappears as the doors close. As soon as the elevator starts moving again, I hear a content sigh from beside me and see the front desk lady starring at the elevator door, her eyes completing love struck.

He must be a member of one of those boy bands, I think to myself, rolling my eyes. I never really liked boy bands like 'One Direction' and what not but I always liked k-pop. I don't know why, maybe because the boys in K-pop boy bands who had solos had beautiful voices, or maybe because they dance in all their videos, or maybe its because I find it amusing that they have a huge amount of members in their groups. I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I love the music but before I learnt Korean, I had know idea what they were singing about. And... I guess some to most of the members are either cute or good looking but still, I have know idea why I like K-Pop boy bands and not boy bands of my own culture.
