EXO-K meeting...followed by a recording?
I'm walking to the kitchen, reading the schedule on my phone, repeating those words in my head in confusion when I suddenly bump into someone. I look up to see Chanyeol.
"Oh, sorry," I apologize before squinting my eyes in confusion as I look back at my screen and continue walking.
"What's got you distracted? Listening to our songs again?" I hear Tao joke, referring to the incident a couple weeks ago. I look up to see him sitting in the dinning room, eating breakfast.
"Oh, aha ha ha," I laugh sarcastically before putting my phone away, making D.O, Suho and Chanyeol laugh, the only other boys awake at the moment. I go into the kitchen, taking a piece of bread out and putting it in the toaster. While waiting, I grab my phone out again and dial Lee's number, calling him.
"No, but seriously, what's troubling you?" Suho asks after laughing. Just as he asks, Lee picks up his phone answering.
"Hi, Lee," I say loud enough for them to hear so they know who I'm talking to. Then the toaster goes off making me roll my eyes. Great timing... NOT!
"Morning, F/N. Are the boys ready for the meeting this afternoon?" Lee asks me as I walk to the toaster, balancing the phone with my shoulder against my ear.
"Yeah, about that meeting..." I say trailing off as I put the piece of toast on a plate. "What is it for? Because it doesn't actually say anything specific," I explain to Lee, getting butter and nutella/peanut butter/ vegemite/etc.
"Oh, sorry about that F/N. I must have sent you the wrong schedule," Lee says as I spread the butter on the toast, making me stop.
"W-what do you mean you sent me the wrong schedule?" I ask slowly, making the boys in the room look at me with wide eyes.
"Oh, don't worry. It just means I sent you the schedule without specifics on it. That's the one I usually send out to people here in the office so they know where I am," he explains, making me sigh in relief and continue making my breakfast.
"So then, what's today's meeting about? And why do we have a recording after it?" I ask, putting the butter and nutella/peanut butter/vegemite/etc. away.
"It's about the mini album they're making," he says in a 'duh' voice, as if I should know this already.
"What mini album?" I ask him cautiously.
"The one I told you about a last week and how the writing team have already written two songs and are ready to record. I sent you the lyric sheets to give to them," Lee tells me, starting to sound worried himself.
"Lee, you didn't tell me about the mini album they're making," I say slowly. "You didn't tell anyone here about this mini album and you didn't send me any lyric sheets," I say worriedly, gaining the boys attention. We then hear a loud yawn come from behind me. We all turn around and shush the person, who happens to be Kai.
"Oh, well then I'll resend them and tell them to learn the songs before this afternoon. Sorry, I have to go so I'll see you later, bye," Lee says before hanging up, leaving me speechless. I slowly grab my phone and look at it, still shocked.
"What did he say about a mini album?" Suho asks me. I then put the phone away before turning around and walking to the rooms in a rush. I quickly walk to Baekhyun and Kai's door before opening it, the sound of the door suddenly opening waking Baeekhyun up.
"Hmm, what do you want, F/N? We don't have to get up until at least 11," Baekhyun moans, rolling over in bed. I grab his doona (duvet) and snatch it off him, making him groan again.
