"What screams, 'I'm desperate, but I'm just doing this to see if you like me'?" I asked Bailey, who had generously gave up her Saturday morning 'sleep 'till noon' time to help me pick an outfit for Harry and I's 'date'.

"A green turtleneck? Mel, I thought your grandma and you didn't share clothes?" Bailey said giggling while holding up an old shirt of mine. She threw it carelessly behind her, continuing to viciously ransack my walk in closet.

I could barely hear her voice through the pile of clothes she was practically buried in. "This. Melina you are wearing this!" what has she found this time?...

Harry text-ed me to meet him at the pier. That's exactly where I'm headed. That is, If Bailey can actually figure out how to GET THERE! Since Bailey's just older enough than me to drive, she's my legal driver, although if I was a cop, I would undoubtedly revoke her licence...

"Bailey, where the heck are we! I'm supposed to meet Harry in 20 minutes!?" I asked frantically.

"Calm. Down. Bro, in case you haven't noticed, I'm Just taking a shortcut!" she replied matter-of-factly.

"A shortcut through the woods?"

After asking for help from joggers at the side of the road, we finally made it to the pier. "You have reached your destination!" Bailey mimicked a GPS. "Thanks for driving me Bail, your a lifesaver! I'll call you when I need picked up okay?" I thanked her.

"No problem, now go! Lover boy is waiting!" She said sticking her tongue out at me. I side hugged her from the passenger seat and climbed out of her family's minivan, turning around one last time to flash her a crazy face.

The warm air hit my bare legs as I stepped into the sunny yet chilly atmosphere of the beautiful pier. "Nice choice Styles, nice choice.." I thought.

I walked on, admiring the small shops that framed the clean beach speckled with white-yellow frost covered sand. The off-white clouds hung lowly in the sky, I slipped on my aviator sunglasses walking towards the restaurant Harry said to meet at. I entered the little bistro and the bell on the door rang. I spotted him sitting alone in a small booth at the back waving at me smiling.

I hope this plan works.

I tried my best to strut over to his table, 'let's hope I don't fail miserably' I thought. He admired my light blue sundress that clung tightly to my hips that I paired with my matching strappy sandals. He finally glanced at my face, smiling at the 'work of art' Bailey created with makeup, using my face as a canvas. My skin was glowing and I pulled my perfectly glossed lips into a wide smile.

"Hi Harry!" I said.

"H-hi Melina.... you look really errrm.. beautiful tonight." He stuttered out sincerely.

"Thanks Haz," I replied with the cute variation of 'Harry' I created for him.

"So you've already got a nickname for me? I thought I was Pablo?" He chuckled.

I adjusted my dress so that I was sitting on the hem and slid into the opposite side of the table. I finally got the chance to admire his outfit that looked well put together and stylish.

He paired his checkered blue button up with tight tan chinos that hugged his lovable skinny long legs. I stared at his perfect cheekbones and his chocolate curls that brought out his mesmerizing green eyes.

Shoot. Shoot he caught me staring. His pale cheeks soon flushed a bright pink. Just before I could break the awkward silence a young male waiter with a goatee came to serve us.
