chapter 2 // the m&g

Emily's POV //

"Oh, everyday. You feel a little bit further away and I don't know what to say."

That voice, it's so beautiful. I get goosebumps all over my body.

He sings it so emotionally, I think I almost cried. Well, I wasn't the only one. Because there were there were a few other girls standing next to us who keeps screaming in my ear and crying.

I see Michael walking towards Calum and whispering something in his ear. Calum nods. Well, I bet it's nothing.

When the song ended, they all thanked everybody and said goodnight.

Well, that was not so bad, was it?

Chloe kept screaming all the time, but I know how much this means to her. Chloe has tears in her eyes and hugs me.

Then she looks at me with a big smile: "OH HOW WAS THAT ? EMILY? YOU DIDN'T REGRET IT, DID YOU?"

I laugh: "Of course not, it was yeah, fun."

Chloe: "What? You just saw my favorite band perform and you call it "fun"? ohmy you really are crazy aren't you?"

I push her a little: "Shhh, just let me. I liked it okay? But let's go, we have to go to your M&G."

The email said we had to go to some help desk, so we went there and a bodyguard took us backstage, he told us to wait there. We waited for like half an hour. Chloe was nervous as fûck, so I felt bad for her. After a while I see the red-haired-boy called Michael walking towards us.

He smiles: "Hi! I'm so sorry that we let you wait, we didn't know that we had a M&G after the show!"

Chloe started shaking and she didn't say anything, she is so nervous. Then Michael walks towards her to her a hug. "Aw are you ok? Don't be too shocked, I'm only human. Not an alien. On the other hand.. maybe I am."

Chloe laughs while wiping her tears away, I laugh too.  Well, I don't really know what I should do. I just stood there awkwardly. Chloe frowns at me. "What?" I mouth at her.

She pushes me a little towards Michael. He smiles: "Hug? Or you scared for aliens?"

I give Michael a hug. I stuck out my tongue "I'm not scared of anything."

Chloe smiles: "Well, ehm, she isn't really a fan of you guys, but I just kinda brought her along because she is really fun you know."

Michael smiles: "Yeah, I can believe you in that. So did you like it?"

I smile back "Yes it is one of the best concerts I've ever been to!"

I see his eyes brighten up and he screams "YES, high five, I like you already" And I give him a high five. I smile, he is cute.

We didn't even notice the other three boys are standing behind us until Ashton said "Hi!". Chloe and I were probably too fascinated by Michael.

Chloe give the others a hug too and I think she really almost cried. They were standing in a row so it was kinda awkward. I decided to hug them too, first Luke, then Ashton and then the last one. Calum. I try to give him a hug, but he doesn't hug me back. When I look at him, I see that he is staring at me.

I smile: "What? What's wrong?"
Michael wiggles with his eyebrows: "Ooh, probably too fascinated by your beauty."
I blush: "Shût up, don't embarrass me, alien"

Michael laughs: "So rude, I'm hurt. So give me another hug. "

He tried to hug me, I push him away, he looks confused at me and pouting: "What?"

"You already gave me a hug, cheater."

"Can't I have another one again? "

I know he is teasing me. I smile "Okay, only because it's you."

I looked beside me and I see that Chloe is talking with Ashton and Luke. Then I caught Calum staring at me again, but he doesn't look away. We just look at each other for a few seconds and I get this weird feeling in my stomach again.

Michael sees that I'm looking at Calum: "Sooooo what's your name actually?"

Just when I want to say my name, Calum suddenly says "Emily?"

I look at him and ask: "What? Yes! How did you know?"

Michael laughs: "Wait that's really your name? Damn Calum how did you guess that right in one shot? Let's go to the casino because you seem to have a lot of luck."

Calum doesn't laugh at his joke and keeps looking at me "Are you serious?" I was so confused that I didn't even know what to say.

Ashton suddenly puts his arm around me and says "Hey guys, should we go to our tourbus? So you two can see what we are up to and stuff."

Then he realizes Calum is staring at him "Wow, did I interrupt something or?"

Calum answers "Nope, let's go."

He walks away without looking back and Michael and I look at each other confusedly.

While walking towards their tourbus, Michael asks me "So what was that about, with Calum?"

"I seriously have no idea? Is he always acting like this?"

"Nope, maybe he is having a bad day."
I look at Chloe and I see her wide smile, it makes me giggle, she's so cute.
Michael laughs "What are you laughing about?"

"I'm just really thankful to you guys, you are making Chloe the happiest girl alive right now."

"No need to thank us, fans like Chloe are the reason why we got this far. We should be thanking you."

"You guys are awesome, why didn't I listen to your music earlier ?!"

He smiles at me "Yeah you really missed out man, best band in the woooooorld."

"Well let's not exaggerate." I chuckle.

Then we arrive at the tourbus, we suddenly hear a lot of screaming girls. I see some girls through the fences but it was too dark, they probably can't see us.

I heard the bodyguards say to the girls "Calm down, they aren't even here."

I hear a lot of awwws and then Ashton opens the door "Welcome to our bus! This is basically where Michael spends his time 24/7"

Michael laughs "Yeah welcome to my crib bruh" He tried to say it very cool, so I burst out laughing.
